British Columbia and Hamilton helped us to another winning week. Can we keep that streak going during this extended weekend? Yes, there is a Monday night contest in Toronto.

With Week 4 rapidly approaching, why not keep going bold? A few trends have appeared. Is there a scenario to lean on the Edmonton Elks with points? Yes.

Let’s look at this four-game weekend schedule to get you ready for your CFL betting.

This Week’s Schedule with moneylines (All Times Eastern)

  • British Columbia Lions 1.68 at Ottawa Redblacks 2.22, Thursday, 7:30 p.m.
  • Edmonton Elks 3.25 at Hamilton Tiger-Cats 1.36, Friday, 7:30 p.m.
  • Montreal Alouettes 2.65 at Saskatchewan Roughriders 1.51, Saturday, 7 p.m.
  • Winnipeg Blue Bombers 1.53 at Toronto Argonauts 2.60, Monday, 7:30 p.m.

Game of the Week

British Columbia Lions 1.68 at Ottawa Redblacks 2.22

This game expects some scoring as British Columbia comes in with its breakneck offense. Last week, the Lions showed they might not be a fluke, scoring 44 points against the Toronto Argonauts.

Ottawa tries to get into the win column after being on a bye week last week. It was not the blowout some feared against Winnipeg. At 2.5, this spread is tempting.

Ottawa is allowing just 19 points per game. The Over is the highest on this slate at 47.5. But it feels like a contest to run with the Under. Ottawa figures to be a more formidable foe.

Best Bet of the Week

Winnipeg Blue Bombers 1.53 at Toronto Argonauts 2.60

This contest might shorten before Monday night. Yes, the Toronto Argonauts laid an egg on defense last week, as British Columbia jumped on the Argonauts the previous week.

After playing better last week against Hamilton, Winnipeg comes in with a 3-0 mark feeling good about its offense. Even then, the Blue Bombers only scored 26 points at Hamilton at home. Can they continue to improve in Toronto?

That is one way to look at this tilt. The other is the Over here if it stays below 43. Winnipeg’s offense has to break out.

Power Rankings

  1. Winnipeg Blue Bombers
  2. B.C. Lions
  3. Calgary Stampeders
  4. Saskatchewan Rough Riders
  5. Montreal Alouettes
