BetMGM Becomes NFL's Official Sportsbook Partner in Canada

BetMGM Sportsbook Canada announced Tuesday that it has signed a multi-year partnership extension with the National Football League and is one of the League’s Official Sportsbook Partners in Canada.

This announcement comes months after BetMGM was one of the first online sportsbooks in Ontario to launch in April 2022.
BetMGM is also the Approved Sportsbook Operator of the NFL in the United States and has been since 2021. The U.S. deal allowed in-game televisions “spots” during the season.
“Expanding our partnership with the NFL into Canada sets the stage for amazing opportunities as we begin the upcoming football season,” BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said in a news release. “We’re already seeing great interest from our Ontario customers, and this collaboration truly elevates the BetMGM experience.”
Per the extension, BetMGM will have rights to use the official NFL logos and marks in Canada and can only advertise on the NFL digital platforms “throughout the region.”

BetMGM players in Canada will also have the opportunity to participate in “exclusive NFL experiences.”

BetMGM reiterates that as its sports betting platform expands, “responsible gaming education remains a key focus” and continues to “provide resources to help customers play responsibly.”
In the United States, BetMGM operates online in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Tennessee, Washington D.C., West Virginia, Wyoming, and has plans to launch in Maryland, Ohio, and more.
