Betting Analysis and Predictions: Toronto Raptors at Chicago Bulls
© USA Today

The Chicago Bulls come into tonight’s game against Toronto with eight losses in the past 10 games and three consecutive losses. The Toronto Raptors are fresh off a road victory against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The game is scheduled to tip at 8 p.m. ET at the United Center.

The Raptors have won six consecutive games on the road, including Sunday’s 93-88 win against the 76ers. The Bulls are coming off a 27-point loss as a 4.5-point road underdog on Friday to the Phoenix Suns.

The Bulls are at home and playing with two days of rest. The Raptors are on the second of back-to-back nights on the road. The Bulls are 3.5-point favourites after opening at 4.5 points.

Even though the Bulls have two extra days of rest, their quality of play in March more than offsets that rest advantage and reflects the betting interest on the Raptors, causing the line to decline.

Before you decide how to spend your NBA betting money, let’s look at more numbers.

What do the Situational Analytics Tell Us?

I have a definite lean to back the Raptors and let’s dive into my omnipotent data to reveal more sports betting intelligence.

The Raptors are 5-1 straight-up and against the spread when playing on the second of back-to-back road games this season.

Since the start of the 2019-20 season, the Raptors are 11-10-straight-up, 13-8 against the spread, including a 9-12 Over-Under record. When priced as a dog, they are 6-8 straight-up and 9-5 against the spread, for 64% winning bets and includes a 7-7 Over-Under record.

The Raptors are a solid 9-6 against the spread by having the rest disadvantage this season. The Bulls are 11-7 against the spread when having the rest advantage.

The Bulls, though, over the past three seasons with two or more days rest advantage are 8-9 straight-up and against the spread, including a solid 12-5 Over-Under record record, good for 71% winning Over wagers.

The Raptors are 2-3 straight-up and a money-losing 1-4 against the spread when playing on back-to-back nights over the past five seasons.

A Highly-Profitable Betting Algorithm Backs Toronto

Here is a highly profitable and time-tested NBA betting algorithm that has produced a 75-40-3 against the spread record, good for 64% winning bets over the past five seasons.

Betting on road teams that are off a win against a division rival and is playing their sixth game in the past 10 days.

I am betting on the Raptors plus the points.
