James Cook, RB, Buffalo Bills, Anytime TD Scorer, +160, at DraftKings Sportsbook. Cook has been a feel-good story for the Bills early this season. The sophomore had 123 yards on 17 carries against the Las Vegas Raiders in the Bills’ win last weekend, and has a 5.8-yard average on the season so far. This weekend the Bills are in Washington to take on the 2-0 Commanders. Odds for Sunday’s tilt: Bills heavily favoured, 1.36 on the moneyline at BetMGM (Commanders 3.25), 1.36 at theScore Bet (Commanders 3.25).
Justin Fields, QB, Chicago Bears, Over 58.5 rush yards, 1.88, BetRivers Sportsbook. Fields is a great natural athlete but has been frustrated with the offence of the 0-2 Bears so far. He rushed for 1,143 yards last year (tops among quarterbacks in the NFL), and is ready to bust out. The Bears are in Kansas City to play the Chiefs. This is the top bet by percentage on the player prop money side so far at BetRivers (6.2%).
Other notables: Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings, scores two or more Touchdowns, 7.00 at DraftKings; Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens, over 48.5 receiving yards, 1.87 at DraftKings; Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots, Over 13.5 rushing attempts, 1.83 at BetMGM; Jared Goff, under 267.5 passing yards, 1.87 at BetMGM.
