The sixth week of the 2022 CFL season starts tonight. Let’s look at this four-game weekend schedule.

CFL Betting Advice: Let’s Regroup A Bit!

British Columbia humbled us some as Winnipeg dropped the hammer and “held on” for a 21-point victory in Week 5 over the Lions. With that win, the Blue Bombers again set themselves apart from the rest of the league.

With Week 6 closing in, there is that one big matchup everyone will discuss. Once again, the “matchup of the week” involves Winnipeg, which should surprise no one.

The idea remains to find some best bets while looking at different possibilities. Below is the CFL Week 6 Schedule.

This Week’s Schedule with Moneylines (All Times Eastern)

  • Edmonton Elks (3.82) at Montreal Alouettes (1.39), Today, 7:30 p.m.
  • Calgary Stampeders (2.56) at Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1.53), Friday, 8:30 p.m.
  • Saskatchewan Rough Riders (1.72) at Toronto Argonauts (2.16), Saturday, 2 p.m.
  • Ottawa Redblacks (3.35) at Hamilton Tiger-Cats (1.34), Saturday, 5 p.m.

Game of the Week

Calgary Stampeders 2.56 at Winnipeg Blue Bombers 1.53

This game will feature scoring as both teams can put up points. Last week, Winnipeg unloaded on British Columbia, scoring 43 points. Calgary hammered Edmonton in Week 5 by a score of 49-6. Overall, the Stampeders average 35.5 points per game.

Winnipeg made quite a statement last week as the Blue Bombers showed why they are the two-time defending champions. So, the Lions did leave some points on the table. Calgary may not be quite so charitable this week.

Winnipeg gets this showdown at home against Calgary. The Stampeders have a vulnerable defense. Aside from the Edmonton game, they allowed 26.7 points per contest. Stampeders-Blue Bombers has a feel for connecting on the Over.

Expect Bo-Levi Mitchell and Calgary to ride that second half in Edmonton to keep things close against Winnipeg. Dalton Schoen and Greg Ellingson combined for 215 yards receiving and three touchdowns from Zach Collaros. Calgary and Winnipeg will be one wild Friday night game.

Best Bet of the Week

Saskatchewan Rough Riders 1.72 at Toronto Argonauts 2.16

The highest Over on the slate barely worked last week as Edmonton forgot to show up offensively, and Calgary just kept on scoring. The Stampeeders put up 49 points in the rout. Saskatchewan did what it had to do in scoring 28 last week versus Ottawa at home.

After playing better two weeks ago against Winnipeg, Toronto is in an exciting position. It is going up against an undefeated team in the Rough Riders this time. The Argonauts have played in some close games this season. Both of their home games were decided by just one point.

That is a simple way to look at this tilt. The Over remains reachable at 46.0. Saskatchewan and Toronto's scoring may be erratic. The Rough Riders’ moneyline at 1.72 could be something to wager. That is our pick, Canadian bettors.

Power Rankings

  1. Winnipeg Blue Bombers
  2. Calgary Stampeders
  3. Saskatchewan Rough Riders
  4. British Columbia Lions
  5. Montreal Alouettes
