Let’s look at this four-game weekend schedule this weekend to get your ready for your CFL betting.

CFL Betting Advice: Let’s Strike Back!

Winnipeg held on by a touchdown and proved us right in Week 6. After all, things were getting ugly, and the Blue Bombers might have saved us from ourselves. Along with that wild Edmonton scoring spree, there were collective exhales from the Canadian sports bettors.

With Week 7 here, there is that one big matchup. Surprisingly, the “matchup of the week” involves Montreal and Ottawa tonight.

So let us find some best bets while looking at different possibilities. Below is the CFL Week 7 Schedule.

This Week’s Schedule with Moneylines (All Times Eastern)

  • Montreal Alouettes 1.68 at Ottawa Redblacks 2.23, 7 p.m.
  • Hamilton Tiger-Cats 3.75 at British Columbia Lions 1.28, 10 p.m.
  • Winnipeg Blue Bombers 1.30 at Edmonton Elks 3.60, Friday, 9 p.m.
  • Ottawa Redblacks 2.30 at Saskatchewan Rough Riders 1.67, Saturday, 7 p.m.

Game of the Week

Montreal Alouettes 1.68 at Ottawa Redblacks 2.23

This game may be a bit wilder than expected. Last week, Montreal collapsed at home and lost to the Edmonton Elks.

The one-point loss was another heartbreaker for the Alouettes. It was a game that Montreal should have won. The 32-31 loss will have long-reaching impacts.

Ottawa, in the meantime, lost its game in a heart-wrenching way. It was narrowly defeated by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 25-23.

Both teams are not very good, with Montreal losing all three road games. Ottawa has lost both of its home contests. Flipping a coin might be easier tonight.

With quarterback Jeremiah Masoli out, it looks like Caleb Evans will start for the Redblacks.

Mistakes have plagued both teams. Montreal commits penalties at an obscene rate, and Ottawa finds ways to lose. What is the best Ontario sports betting play?

Take the spread here and those 2.5 points in what should be another close game in Ottawa.

Best Bet of the Week

Winnipeg Blue Bombers 1.30 at Edmonton Elks 3.60

The Over on the slate has been a little tougher to come by in recent weeks but we want to say thank you to Edmonton. Those pesky Elks scored 14 points late in the fourth quarter to save some bettors from a bad beat.

To follow up on that win, Edmonton comes home where it is 0-2 on the season but 2-2 on the road.

Meanwhile, Winnipeg keeps on winning It is 6-0, including a 3-0 mark on the road.

Straying from the moneyline is a simple way to look at this tilt. The Over remains reachable at 47.5.

Winnipeg’s scoring might be erratic but should be able to put up points against Edmonton. Canadian bettors should note that Edmonton yields 36.7 points per game, including 31 to Montreal in Week 6.

Pick the Over, Canadian bettors.
