Delasport Goes Live In Alberta With PlayBetNova.ca

Delasport is now live in Alberta with operator PlayBetNova.ca, extending its partnership with the Betnova brand into a second Canadian province.
The supplier announced the launch on October 19, 2026, three months after Alberta's regulated online gaming market opened on July 13, 2026.
PlayBetNova.ca runs on Delasport's full turnkey stack: its proprietary sportsbook, casino, player account management platform and managed services.

What Delasport Has Launched
According to Delasport's announcement, the go-live provides PlayBetNova.ca with the technology and operational support to launch, run, and grow in Alberta.
The package covers the sportsbook, the casino product, the player account platform that handles registration and wallets, and the managed services behind them.
PlayBetNova.ca is described as the Alberta online sportsbook and casino brand in the Betnova family.
Delasport already powers Betnova in Ontario, so the Alberta launch repeats a setup the two companies have run in another province.
Second Canadian Market For Delasport
Delasport's Ontario technology and managed services already support several licensed brands, including TitanPlay, Maverick Games and Betnova. Alberta becomes its second regulated market in Canada.
The launch follows two registrations from Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC).
In a September 16, 2026 announcement, Delasport said it holds registrations as an iGaming Goods or Services Supplier (Platform Provider) and as a Critical Gaming Systems Supplier.
Together, they allow it to supply its player account platform, sportsbook and online casino aggregation product to operators in the province.

Compliance Groundwork In Alberta
Delasport said its platform has been connected to Alberta's Central Self-Exclusion system and set up for the automatic daily, weekly and monthly reporting the AGLC requires.
It also pointed to TitanPlay, an Ontario brand on its technology, passing the Responsible Gambling Council's RG Check accreditation on the first attempt.
Chief Executive Oren Cohen Shwartz said the launch is another milestone in the company's growth across regulated markets and a major step in Canada.
He added that the company's technology lets it enter new markets quickly as regulatory requirements change.
The Market Delasport Is Targeting
Delasport's release puts the opportunity in context. It cites iGaming Ontario figures showing Ontario's regulated market took in CA$82.7 billion in wagers and produced CA$3.2 billion in gross gaming revenue in fiscal 2024-25.
It also says the Government of Alberta estimates unregulated operators still account for around 70% of local iGaming activity.
Analysts at H2 Gambling Capital expect the regulated market to convert that gap into roughly CA$1.2 billion of first-year gross gaming revenue, according to the same release.
Those market figures are Delasport's citations of third-party estimates rather than official Alberta results.
More operator and supplier launches are likely as the province's market matures.
