Week 13 Betting Overview

There’s a plethora of storylines on the NFL betting front as we head into Week 13, starting with the Thursday Night Football game tonight with the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Seattle Seahawks (8:15 p.m., Prime Video).

Dallas Cowboys vs. Seattle Seahawks: Odds and Predictions

The Cowboys are big favourites tonight, 1.22 on the Moneyline at BetMGM (they opened at 1.29). The Seahawks are 4.40 after opening at 3.80. And the current Spread there is Dallas -9.5 (72 per cent of bets, and 80 per cent of handle). Seattle is +9.5.

BetMGM reports that TE Jake Ferguson to Score 1st Touchdown (11.00) is one of their most bet props (tickets). The Cowboys offence is hot – but Ferguson is up against a defence in Seattle that plays tight ends hard. They held San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle to just three receptions and 19 yards last weekend.

Dallas wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is another popular prop pick, in the To Score Anytime Touchdown market (1.71). Running back Tony Pollard Over 63.5 Rushing Yards (1.91) is getting 99 per cent of money on the Over. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott Under 230.5 Passing Yards (1.83) is another popular player prop with bettors.

Similar names pop up on the most bet player prop front at DraftKings – Lamb Anytime TD Scorer (1.71), Ferguson First TD Scorer (10.00), Pollard to Score 2 or More Touchdowns (4.80) and Prescott Passing Touchdowns Over 1.5 (1.43).

Team Health: Cowboys and Seahawks

The Cowboys (8-3, second in NFC East) are healthy. The Seahawks have some starters hurt – Guard Phil Hayne (toe), listed as “out”, WR Dareke Young (abdomen) and RB Kenneth Walker III listed as “doubtful”, WR Dee Eskridge (ribs) listed as “questionable”.

Key Injuries Across the League

On the injury front overall, the bigger names for Week 13 include Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, out with an injured thumb. Taylor ran for 91 yards and two touchdowns last week in the Colts’ 27-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Colts play the Titans in Tennessee Sunday (1 p.m. EST), where they are slight favourites (1.87 at PointsBet Canada).

RB Travis Etienne (chest) of the Jacksonville Jaguars is questionable for their Monday Night Football game at home against the Cincinnati Bengals (8:15 p.m. EST), day-to-day according to ESPN. The Jags are big betting favourites – 1.24 on the PointsBet Canada Moneyline.

Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (ribs) is listed as questionable for their game Sunday on the road in Los Angeles against the Rams (4:25 p.m. EST). ESPN reports Cooper didn’t practice yesterday. Joe Flacco could be starting at quarterback for the Browns, who are 2.50 on the Moneyline at PointsBet Canada (Rams are 1.56).

Tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) was a non-participant in yesterday’s practice for the high-flying Philadelphia Eagles, fresh off their big win over the Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN. He’s questionable for Sunday’s big game at home against the San Francisco 49ers (4:25 p.m.). The 49ers are favourites at 1.63, at PointsBet Canada, the Eagles are at 2.30.

Other big names on the injury front include Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (knee), New Orleans Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed (thigh), and New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas (concussion), all listed as questionable for their games in Week 13.
