After beating the Toronto Raptors in the first three games of this NBA playoff series, the Philadelphia 76ers have played two of their worst games all season.

The 76ers are getting immense pressure from the Philadelphia and national media after losing at home as a 7-point favorite and scoring just 88 points in Game 5.

One Philadelphia player to watch Thursday is Tyrese Maxey, who scored 38 points in Game 1, but was held to 12 points on 5-for-14 shooting in Game 5 at home.

The betting markets certainly believe there is about a 50-50 probability that Toronto will win Game 6 and send this NBA betting series back to Philadelphia for the deciding Game 7.

Tipoff on Thursday is at 7 p.m. ET.

Philadelphia Looks To Bounce Back

No NBA team has ever come back from a 0-3 deficit, and I believe that record will stay intact.

The Raptors have owned the 76ers in the series, but I cannot see them defeating Philadelphia in four consecutive games.

NBA playoff teams with three series wins, while playing on the road in Game 6, have gone 62-38 straight-up for 62% winning bets over the last five playoff seasons. In the last 10 playoff seasons, these teams have gone 26-16 against the spread for 64% winners.

Plus, if they are a road favourite in Game 6, these teams, like the Sixers, have earned a 26-9 straight-up record and a 23-12 against-the-spread mark for 65.7% winning bets over the last five playoff seasons.

I am betting on the Philadelphia 76ers using the moneyline, currently priced at –125.
