Sports Interaction, one of Canada’s more well-known online sportsbooks, offers new ways to wager on sports known as Pinata Picks and Scorigami.

How Sports Interaction's Pinata Picks Works
With Pinata Picks, you’ll wager on something with, for example, 100/1 odds. However, you are assigned a random value on that particular bet.
For example, as we head into Week 8 of the NFL season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hosting the Baltimore Ravens. So, at Sports Interaction, there’s a bet right now where you’ll get 100 to 1 odds on a randomly assigned passing yards total for Tom Brady. You won’t know the value until you make your wager.
If you wager on the 100 to 1 odds bet, you could get, for example, 178 passing yards or 253 passing yards. Then, if Brady passes for that amount, you’ll win at 100 to 1 odds.
For more examples, Sports Interaction provides the following examples for Pinata Picks:
- In a golf tournament where there’s 132 golfers participating, it will offer a pinata pick at fixed odds of 125-1. The customer might get lucky and be randomly assigned Rory McElroy at 125-1 (when true odds on him would normally be 8-1), or they might get assigned any random player with true odds that would have been higher.
- It is also offering Pinata Pick odds on “minute of first goal” on most top soccer leagues. There’s 90 minutes in a soccer match so we’ll randomly assign customers a minute at fixed odds of 80-1.
How Sports Interaction's Scorigami Works
Another wagering option is called Scorigami. This is a concept in the NFL where the final score ends with unique numbers.
In football, a final score featuring 7 or 3 are common. However, like the Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks game earlier this season, a 48-45 final had yet to happen. That was the 1,073rd unique score that’s happened in the NFL.
Right now, at Sports Interaction, you can wager on whether the 1,074th Scorigami will happen this season. For example, an 8-7 final has never happened.
This bet is available right now at Sports Interaction with 1,000 to 1 odds, providing plenty of value if Scorigami occurs again this season.
For context, last season, there were six Scorigami.
These betting methods have a significant element of luck associated with them, but it combines the thrill of playing a casino-like game with sports betting, giving you something unique to root for each game.
