Toronto Blue Jays and theScore Reach 10-Year Agreement

theScore Bet is now the official gaming partner of the Toronto Blue Jays.

The companies announced the 10-year exclusive deal, which is aimed at offering fans new and exciting ways to experience the game at the ballpark and online.

Details of Blue Jays Deal with theScore

“The fan experience is evolving and this monumental partnership with theScore Bet offers compelling new ways for sports enthusiasts to be a part of the game,” Mark Shapiro, President & CEO, Toronto Blue Jays, said in a media release. “We are excited to be partnering with a Canadian company that operates at the highest level of the industry and understands our role in Toronto and Canada, to bring baseball to more fans nationwide.”

For theScore Bet, it’s the first deal with a professional team. It’s also the Blue Jays’ first partnership with a gaming company. theScore bet recently went live with its sportsbook in Ontario on Monday.

The deal will give theScore Bet exclusive national marketing rights that extend across Ontario online sports betting, casino, online casino and fantasy sports.

The Blue Jays and theScore Bet also plan to build a premium, 365-days-a-year flagship sports bar and restaurant at Rogers Centre that will become an entertainment hub and destination for fans.

With our combined loyal audiences and brand affinity in Ontario, we believe this deal will establish a new standard for team and gaming operator relationships as we pioneer innovative ways to experience and interact with the game.”

Fans can expect to see new in-stadium and digital offerings from theScore Bet through various sponsorship elements such as immersive premium seating sections on the baselines, extensive in-game branding, in-game features, numerous team-related experiences and theScore Bet as the designating partner of the Jays Care 50/50 program.

“We look forward to working with Mark, the partnerships team and the entire Blue Jays organization on what we know will be a mutually rewarding and successful partnership for many years to come,” Levy said.

theScore Bet Live in Ontario

theScore Bet Sportsbook and Casino was one of the first operators to go live in Ontario when the province’s new private gaming market officially opened on Monday at 12:01 a.m. ET.

Both theScore Bet Sportsbook and Casino are available for download on iOS and Android devices.

In 2019, theScore became the first media company in North America to launch a mobile sportsbook, theScore Bet.
