JeffBet Betting Review (2026) - Deep Hockey Markets To Explore
JeffBet is a sportsbook with 30+ sports, from soccer and hockey to table tennis and esports.
This bookmaker launched in 2022, with English and French language options for Canadian customers.
Read on for my review of what JeffBet has to offer.
JeffBet launched in 2022 and is operated by ProgressPlay Ltd, a Malta-based company.
ProgressPlay holds Malta Gaming Authority licence (licence no. MGA/B2C/231/2012) and is regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account 39335.
New customers can claim a $30 free bet after placing a qualifying $10 bet on the sportsbook.
JeffBet Promo Code
No promo code is needed to claim this offer.
How it Works
- Deposit at least $10 through the sports cashier, then place $10 or more in real-money bets
- The $30 free bet is credited as pending and activates once those bets are placed
- It is a single $30 stake at minimum odds of 1.5, and the stake is not returned
- The terms do not list eligible sports or exclusions, so check before betting
- Free bets cannot be cashed out and must be used in the order credited
- Winnings convert to cash up to a $200 maximum
- The free bet expires seven days after it is credited
- Skrill and Neteller deposits do not qualify
- Withdrawing before the terms are met voids active bonuses
Wagering Requirements
Winnings from the free bet carry a 1x rollover.
Only bonus bets count towards it, and bets must settle to count.
The rollover must be met within seven days of the free bet being credited.
Is the JeffBet Bonus Worth It?
In my view, a $30 free bet for a $10 qualifying bet is good value, as winnings carry only a one-time rollover and no promo code is needed.
The catch is that the stake is not returned, winnings convert to cash up to $200 and the free bet expires after seven days, so I would use it promptly.
Key Benefits:
✔️ Straightforward Claim - No promo code is needed to unlock the free bet
✔️ Triple The Stake - The free bet is three times the qualifying bet
✔️ Light Rollover - Winnings only need to be wagered once
Who is This Bonus Best For?
✔️ Free bet fans who want $30 of extra betting credit
✔️ New customers wanting a first look at the sportsbook
✔️ Hockey and football fans wanting to try NHL and NFL markets
I found weekly cashback, matchday cashback and a points-based rewards program available to JeffBet customers in Canada.
- Weekend Sports Cashback - 10% back on losses from single bets on any sport, up to $500, with code WCB and no wagering
- Matchday Cashback - Similar offers on featured soccer matchdays, each with its own code
- Rewards Program - Points from missions, levels and leaderboards can be redeemed in a Rewards Store for free bets and cashback
- Boosted Odds - Enhanced prices on selected markets
- Multiple Of The Day - A featured parlay put together for the day
As of writing, JeffBet does not currently list a VIP program for Canadian customers.
I discovered JeffBet’s cashier mixes cards, wallets, vouchers and crypto.
Deposit options include Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Interac, MuchBetter, Payz, AstroPay, Paysafecard, Neosurf and crypto such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDC.
All amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD), and most deposits are instant from a $10 minimum.
I would check the fees before using crypto, as it carries a 0.75% processing fee and a 0.55% conversion fee.
Withdrawals take one business day to process, then one business day by instant bank payment, three by Payz and three to seven by card.
JeffBet terms require identity checks once combined deposits and withdrawals reach €2,000 ($3,100).
In my case, checks happened at a first withdrawal, but they can also happened when key account details change and when you withdraw to a different method.
Required documents include a passport, driver’s licence or national ID card, proof of address dated within three months and proof of the payment method.
I liked how JeffBet pairs a broad sports list with Same Game Parlays, partial Cash Out and hockey depth beyond the NHL.
Bet Builder/Same Game Parlay
Same Game Parlays span 10 sports, including soccer, ice hockey, basketball and American football.
The BB marker on matches that offer it, as not every match does.
Hockey Beyond The NHL
On the day I checked, hockey had 93 events listed , including 10 AHL matches against four NHL.
I think that gives bettors action on nights without a full NHL schedule.
Partial Cash Out
Cash Out covers selected pre-match and live events on singles and multiples, and a slider lets you cash out part of a stake.
Live Streaming
Selected events can be streamed live on the site.
Streams are available on certain sports only.
French-Language Site
The site can be switched to French, which is a nice option for French-speaking Canadians.
JeffBet states that live chat and email support run 24/7.
I found live chat in the bottom right corner of the homepage.
When I tried it, it opens with an AI chatbot, and after a couple of prompts asking for a person I reached a human agent within a minute.
The site can be switched to French, but I did not find a French chat option.
JeffBet offers deposit, wager, loss and session limits, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion.
Limits can be daily, weekly or monthly and are set at registration.
Increases take seven days to apply and limits apply across the operator’s network.
I would note that these tools are operator-level and not linked to a provincial program.
JeffBet also monitors play and may apply limits proactively, and tools sit under the Play Responsibly tab in your account.
There are a couple of things to note before joining JeffBet:
No Mobile App
Betting runs through the mobile browser only, with no app store listings available.
Slow Card Withdrawals
Card withdrawals take three to seven business days, which is slower than the other methods.
For me, JeffBet puts range first, with 30+ sports and event categories and real depth in soccer, hockey and table tennis.
It is an established operator, and Same Game Parlays, partial Cash Out, live streaming and a French-language option round out the package, while Interac sits alongside cards and crypto.
There are drawbacks, no mobile app on the app stores and slow card withdrawals.
Overall, I would recommend JeffBet to bettors who want broad sports choice to choose from.
