Daragh has spent more than three decades working across sports journalism, broadcasting and publishing, with horse racing at the heart of his career.

He has edited the Irish Racing Yearbook since its 2009 edition, overseeing one of the established annual publications covering Irish racing and breeding. 

His freelance journalism has appeared across a wide range of national publications, while his work for The Irish Field focuses particularly on in-depth interviews with leading figures from racing.

His broadcasting experience includes working as an in-ring reporter on TG4's Rásaí Beo, while his wider journalism spans GAA, football, rugby, tennis, sailing and golf. 

Daragh is also a two-time MacNamee Award winner, has twice finished runner-up for Ireland & GB Racing Writer of the Year and won The Irish Field Naps competition in 2022.
