Lottery players in Ireland are being urged to check their tickets in case they happen to be the winner of an as-yet-unclaimed EuroMillions Plus top prize worth €500,000.

The Irish National Lottery revealed that a pair of local punters each correctly picked the winning numbers of 11, 15, 20, 23 and 29 for the February 24 draw to bag the potentially life-changing reward.

However, only one of these winners has so far come forward with the remaining claimant now having less than two weeks to collect their cash prize.

Important Information

The Irish National Lottery disclosed that the outstanding EuroMillions Plus lottery ticket was purchased on February 23 at the Dunnes Stores outlet within the Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre in the south Dublin suburb of Tallaght.

Under lottery rules, successful punters have only 90 days from the date of a draw to claim their prize, meaning that the deadline for the unsettled ticket expires from the close of business on Wednesday, May 24.

Official Overture

A spokesperson for the Irish National Lottery called on all EuroMillions players to carefully check their old tickets from February so as to ensure that they do not miss out on claiming their prize.

“We are hoping to hear from a EuroMillions player in Dublin who won the EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000 in the February 24 draw after purchasing their ticket at Dunnes Stores in the Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre, Tallaght, County Dublin,” the Irish National Lottery spokesperson said.

“As ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, the last date to claim this prize is Wednesday, May 24, so we are encouraging all our players who purchased their ticket in the Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre to check their old tickets very carefully.”

The Irish National Lottery stated that the enigmatic winner of the February 24 EuroMillions Plus draw should immediately sign the back of their ticket before contacting its prize claims team via telephone on 1-800-666-222 or e-mail at [email protected].
