Empire Casino Goes All In With New Aristocrat Gaming Zone

Empire Casino has raised the stakes in London’s Leicester Square with the launch of Aristocrat on the Square, a dedicated gaming zone showcasing some of the supplier’s most recognisable and in-demand titles.

The new space features crowd favourites such as Lightning Link and Mo Mummy, delivering a premium, high-energy slots experience in one of the capital’s busiest entertainment districts.

To mark the launch, the casino is running Home of the Hot Seats: Aristocrat Slots Edition, an exclusive promotion for Metropolitan Rewards Card holders.

Running throughout February, the campaign offers players the chance to win food and beverage rewards alongside Fanatics vouchers.

Part of the Metropolitan Casinos group, Empire Casino sits at the heart of Leicester Square and offers a full mix of classic table games, including blackjack and American roulette, alongside electronic roulette and a wide selection of the latest slot machines.

Dedicated Gaming Space

The casino, which opened its doors in 2007, now also boasts the UK’s only dedicated Aristocrat Gaming space.

Alex Oswald, Metropolitan Gaming’s Managing Director, said of the new space: “The launch of Aristocrat on the Square at Empire Casino represents an exciting new chapter for Metropolitan Gaming.

“As the first dedicated Aristocrat Gaming space in the UK, it reflects our focus on creating distinctive, premium environments that elevate the player experience.

“Working closely with Aristocrat, we’ve brought together world-class gaming content and a carefully designed setting to deliver something truly special for our guests at Empire Casino.”

Meanwhile, Aristocrat Gaming’s CEO, Craig Toner, said: “The debut of Aristocrat on the Square at Empire Casino marks a significant milestone for Aristocrat Gaming, reinforcing our commitment to customers across EMEA and expanding our presence in the UK as we continue delivering world‑class gaming experiences to players around the globe.

“Our partnership with Metropolitan Gaming reflects a multi-year investment in bringing cutting‑edge games, hardware, marketing and entertainment experiences to players across Europe.”

Among the games in the new area, players will be able to access Aristocrat Gaming’s Lightning Link, which offers multiple titles on each machine.

Mo Mummy is a 5x3 ancient-Egypt themed slot that includes a Cash Collect feature.

Cash Collect randomly grants the player multipliers for a single spin, potentially increasing the prizes spun.

From Lightning Link To Leicester Square

Aristocrat Gaming is a well-known slot machine manufacturer, offering both physical machines and online slots.

The Australian company has been manufacturing gaming machines since the 1950s.

The group’s Lightning Link machines, which feature progressive jackpots linked between multiple machines, can be found in dedicated areas in North American casinos, but this is the first such area in the UK.

Metropolitan Casinos owns and operates 11 casinos in the UK and Egypt, including Empire Casino.

It has previously been owned by Harrah’s Entertainment, which rebranded as Caesars Entertainment in 2010, before being acquired by the newly formed Metropolitan Gaming in 2021.

Metropolitan Gaming paid a reported £15m for London Clubs International, which owned around a dozen casinos, including the Leicester Square property.
