Games Global Takes Majority Stake In Studio Partner Wishbone Games
Games Global has become the majority owner of Wishbone Games, the Cardiff-based slots studio that already supplied the supplier with exclusive content, according to filings at Companies House.
The UK register lists Games Global UK Limited as the only active person with significant control of Wishbone Games Limited, notified on October 1, 2025.
The entry records ownership of more than 50% but less than 75% of the shares. The Companies House record is the only public confirmation so far: Games Global has not issued a press release on the deal that we could find.
For players, nothing changes immediately. Wishbone's games reach operators through Games Global's distribution network.

What The Register Shows
Wishbone Games Limited is registered under company number 14060517. Games Global UK Limited, company number 13952723, has a London-registered address and became the controlling shareholder on October 1, 2025.
The studio's two co-founders, Olaf Miska and Vlad Matei, were each recorded as holding between 25% and 50% when the company was set up in May 2022.
Both entries ceased on May 30, 2023, and a statement that the company had no registrable person was in place from that date until it was withdrawn on October 1, 2025, the same day Games Global UK was added.
The register does not disclose a price or indicate whether the co-founders sold all their shares. The filing shows only the band of ownership.
Companies House also lists a new director, Gianluca Calabretta, appointed on April 15, 2026.
An Existing Exclusive Partner
Games Global was already working with the studio.
In a November 2023 post on LinkedIn, Games Global introduced Wishbone Games as one of the newest exclusive studio partners to join its network, describing it as hailing from Cardiff.
That exclusive relationship means the ownership change formalises a link that already existed.
Wishbone's slots were distributed through Games Global before the shareholding change, so the register entry reflects a deepening of an established partnership rather than a new supplier relationship.
Part Of A Wider Studio Strategy
Games Global has been expanding its content footprint for several years.
Its licensed markets now include Alberta, where it secured a licence from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission and West Virginia, which our desk reported as its fifth US iGaming market.
Owning part of a studio rather than only distributing its games gives a supplier more say over release plans and a stake in how well titles perform.
It also ties the studio to a single distribution partner, which may matter if the developer wants to sign with other aggregators.

The timing is worth noting for readers tracking supplier consolidation.
The shareholding changed in October 2025 and only surfaced publicly through the register, so the formal announcement, if one comes, is likely to confirm terms the filing cannot show.
