Harrah’s Oklahoma Set To Open As Caesars Expands Footprint

Harrah’s Oklahoma will open to the public on April 9, becoming the first casino in Oklahoma owned and managed by Caesars Entertainment.
Developed in partnership with the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma, the property will deliver a Las Vegas-style gaming experience similar to those found on the Las Vegas Strip.
It is located near Chandler along Historic Route 66.
Caesars continues to expand its regional presence through partnerships with tribal communities, operating casino and hotel properties across the US.
The company is also strengthening its digital reach, competing alongside the best online casinos as it grows its national brand footprint.
A New Gaming Destination On Route 66
The new property will feature a large casino floor offering a wide range of gaming options and promotions designed to attract new players.
The gaming floor will include approximately 1,000 slot machines, about 12 table games, a dedicated high-limit area and multiple dining venues, bars and entertainment options - providing a comprehensive gaming and hospitality experience.
While the initial launch focuses on gaming and hospitality, future development phases will introduce a hotel and expanded on-site entertainment.
The long-term vision is to evolve into a full resort-style destination, reflecting industry trends that emphasize diversified revenue streams beyond traditional gaming.
This approach mirrors broader market shifts, as players increasingly divide their time between physical casinos and the best online slots available through regulated platforms.
The agreement between Caesars Entertainment and the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma reflects a growing model in tribal gaming, where established operators provide management expertise and brand recognition while tribes retain long-term operational benefits.
Tribal leaders expect the project to support community investment, infrastructure development and job creation, highlighting the economic impact of gaming ventures in the region.

Jobs, Rewards & Regional Impact
Harrah’s Oklahoma is expected to create more than 300 jobs across gaming operations, food and beverage, security, facilities management and administrative departments.
Hiring is under way, with additional recruiting events planned ahead of the grand opening. Local businesses are also expected to benefit from increased tourism and visitor traffic once the casino opens.
The new location will integrate with Caesars Entertainment’s national rewards program, allowing guests to earn and redeem credits across the company’s properties.
This connectivity may attract existing Caesars customers from out of state, strengthening cross-property visitation to destinations such as Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
With its April debut, Caesars is deepening its presence in Oklahoma’s tribal gaming market, adding new brand competition and expanding its regional reach.
More details about entertainment, dining and grand opening events will be announced closer to launch.
The opening of Harrah’s Oklahoma marks a significant milestone for the Iowa Tribe and represents the next phase in the evolution of Oklahoma’s gaming landscape - blending tribal ownership with a nationally recognized casino brand for the benefit of local communities and visitors alike.
