ICONIC21 Launches Free Double & Split Blackjack With House-Funded Extra Stakes

ICONIC21 has added another blackjack variant to its live portfolio.
The supplier has launched Free Double & Split Blackjack, a live table game in which the house covers the additional stake when a player doubles down or splits an eligible hand. The release follows the studio's recent live launches, including Face Down Double Down and Gravity Poker.
The game is described in the supplier's announcement as an unlimited-seat version of classic blackjack, so every player at the table plays against the same dealer hand and gets an individual result. Nobody has to wait for a seat to open before joining a round.
How The Free Doubles And Splits Work
The core game stays familiar, with the twist focused on two of blackjack's biggest decisions. A player holding a hard 9, 10 or 11 can double down at no extra cost.
Pairs from 2s through 9s, along with Aces, can be split for free. In both cases, the house funds the additional wager, so the player does not commit any further stake of their own.
The original bet is still required to join a hand, so the format is not free-to-play. The mechanics only remove the extra cost of the double or split on eligible hands.
Pairs of 10-value cards are not on the eligible list in the game's published description.
The table also carries Lucky 3, Pairs and Poker 3 side bets, according to the game page on ICONIC21's site, which gives players more ways to bet on each deal alongside the main hand.
The Push On 22 Rule
Giving players free extra wagers shifts the maths in their favour, so ICONIC21 has added a counterweight. If the dealer busts with exactly 22, every remaining hand that is not a natural blackjack pushes rather than wins. A natural blackjack keeps its normal payout.
Andrii Savyntsev, product owner and team lead at ICONIC21, said the aim is to let players make double- and split-decisions based on the cards in front of them rather than on the extra money they would have to commit.
He added that, for operators, the Push on 22 rule makes the format workable, as it is a single rule that is easy to explain on-screen and lets them offer free doubles and splits on an unlimited table while keeping the game balanced.
The launch comes as live casino suppliers continue to rework blackjack with rule variations, side bets, and multipliers to differentiate tables in a crowded lobby.

By building the whole concept around who pays for a double or a split, ICONIC21 is pitching a clear, easily explained hook that operators can promote without long rule descriptions.
The release also fits a pattern for the supplier, which has released several blackjack and live table launches in recent weeks, each built around a single clear mechanic rather than a full reinvention of the game.
That approach makes new tables simple for operators to slot into an existing live lobby and easy for players to understand within a couple of hands.
The studio, which describes itself as a fast-growing iGaming content provider, lists the new title in the live games section of its site. Operators interested in adding it can contact the supplier via their online casino site for demos and partnership details.
