IGT Names Jamie Knight Chief Studios Officer To Lead Game Design

A New Chief Studios Officer From January
IGT has announced that Jamie Knight will become its Chief Studios Officer on January 1, 2027, succeeding Jean Venneman, who is retiring at the end of 2026 after more than 30 years in the gaming industry, according to a company announcement.
Knight currently serves as IGT's Senior Vice President of Game Studios for the United States.
In her new role, she will lead the company's studio investments and drive innovation across game design, content development and studio operations, building on the foundation Venneman established since rejoining IGT in 2024.

Two Decades Of Studio Experience
"Jean's leadership created the foundation for this next phase of growth," said IGT chief executive Hector Fernandez.
"She brought together talented teams, strengthened how our studios operate and raised the bar for creative and operational excellence. Jamie's combination of creative instinct, studio leadership and focus on innovation in design and math will build on that momentum and unlock new possibilities across our combined studio organization."
Knight brings two decades of experience across the industry's largest suppliers, having begun her career as a creative before moving into studio leadership.
Under Venneman, IGT built a global studio team of more than 1,200 employees and established shared best practices across its various studio cultures, a structure Knight will now be responsible for scaling further.
