Michigan Punter Lands $220k Hard Rock Bet Progressive Jackpot

One Hard Rock Bet player in Michigan has landed a $223,883 progressive jackpot from a $0.10 opt-in spin. 

The lucky bettor collected the jackpot while playing the Triple Gold slot, but the jackpot was paid as part of Hard Rock’s promotional opt-in progressive jackpot program. 

The prize represents one of the biggest jackpots paid out by Hard Rock Bet in Michigan. 

Win Big With Hard Rock's Four-Tier Jackpot System

The Hard Rock Jackpots program is an opt-in promotional program with four progressive jackpots. 

Players can pay an additional $0.10 per spin on any game and be given a chance to win one of the progressives. Winners are chosen randomly, so it doesn’t matter which game the bettor is playing. 

The smallest of the four jackpots is the Mini Jackpot, which starts at just $7 but hits frequently. The Minor Jackpot is estimated to hit every hour and starts at $40. 

The Major Jackpot lands roughly every day and seeds at $250. The Mega Jackpot offers the biggest prize – seeding at $5,000 – but also has the lowest chance of landing.

Michigan’s Mega Jackpot was previously won in January, about a month after the site went live. 

A player called Jeanne, from Madison Heights, collected $44,994 from the opt-in jackpot while playing the Bao Zhu Zhao Fu Blue slot.

The classic slot in question was Triple Gold from International Gaming Technology (IGT). The game started life as a physical slot machine. Its popularity led to the creation of an online version of the game. 

Launched in 2022, the 3-reel online slot is a basic game with traditional symbols and gameplay. 

It offers up to five paylines, and while there aren’t any bonus games or additional features, the Triple symbols can multiply winnings by up to 27x.

Hard Rock Bet said that the fact the winner was playing Triple Gold shows "familiar classics continue to resonate".
