ODDIK Suspend Esports Operations, Exit Counter-Strike With Immediate Effect
Brazilian organisation ODDIK has suspended its esports operations indefinitely and with immediate effect, bringing an end to its Counter-Strike division after more than five years in competitive CS.
The organisation confirmed the decision in a statement posted on September 23, closing one of the longer-running Brazilian rosters on the CS2 circuit.
The Organisation's Statement
"Today ODDIK announces an indefinite pause in its activities on the competitive scene," the organisation said in its statement, which was carried in full by regional outlets including EPICPLAYZ.pl.
"This was more than five years of tournaments, wins, losses, LANs, big stages, different rosters and countless moments that helped build the history of our organisation," the statement continued, thanking players, staff, partners and fans for the run.
Roster Fallout
Diogo "diozera" Oliveira Nunes and Gustavo "nardes" Henrique have been moved to the organisation's bench, while the rest of the active roster - Vitor "Ceruttera" Cerutti, Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato, Sebastian "righi" Righi and Joaquin "lokomotioN" Abasolo - have been released as free agents, according to HLTV's report on the announcement.
Brazilian outlet Dust2.com.br reported the players are available for negotiation with other organisations.
A Five-Year Run In South American CS
ODDIK entered Counter-Strike in June 2022 and became a mainstay of South American domestic competition, peaking at No. 28 in the HLTV world rankings after an appearance at PGL Astana 2025, where the side narrowly missed out on a playoff spot.
The exit follows a run of roster changes after the team failed to secure a spot at the Cologne Major, and leaves South America's domestic scene with one fewer established organisation heading into the next Valve-ranked cycle.
A Roster In Flux Before The Shutdown
The competitive side had already been unsettled for months before Thursday's announcement.
ODDIK entered Counter-Strike in June 2022 by signing the UNO MILLE roster, and the lineup that eventually peaked at No. 28 in the HLTV rankings went through several changes after missing out on a Cologne Major qualifying spot, with Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato, João "naitte" Maia and Italo "ksloks" Meinberg all departing earlier in the roster shuffle.
The organisation had kept Diogo "diozera" Oliveira and Gustavo "nardes" Henrique alongside newer additions before ultimately benching the entire competitive setup this week.
