BetRegal Sports Betting Features

In the four or so years that BetRegal Sports has been around, they’ve managed to put together a range of features that rival the old established sites in sports betting.

BetRegal Sports have taken on the services of AG Communications to power their sportsbooks, and it’s a pretty good system overall. With the big leagues and games, in particular, there is a lot of detail and stat stuff you can dig into to really make it a great sports viewing companion.

We watched a Japanese J-League football game via BetRegal’s in-game play screen, and they had a graphic of the pitch with the ball movement, and then literally hundreds of odds below that you could bet on. To the right of the screen where all of the stats for corner kicks, shots on goal, etc. There was also a little graphic at the top right to show the momentum of the game if you wanted to confirm your hunch on what was going on.

When it comes to smaller leagues or NZ domestic games, it’s unlikely you’ll get this much detail, but it’s good to know it’s available for the big games. For the likes of a Premier League football or NFL game, it would make a really sweet viewing companion to have BetRegal Sports open on your phone while you’re watching the game on TV.

In terms of horse racing, they had a fair bit of international action, but unfortunately, we couldn’t see anything for NZ or Aussie. Still, there is plenty on offer if you know your horses, especially in the UK or Ireland.

Your betslip is on the right of the screen (once you’ve made your bet/s). To the right of that, there is a My Bets tab with a summary of your bets in play. Below that is the BR-Bot, which is BetRegal Sport’s own little game predictor — it’s up to you whether you want to trust it!

If you click on the settings cog of the betslip tab, you can also choose whether you want to accept odds changes, only accept better odds, or not accept any new odds. Pretty cool if you want to take advantage of changing odds automatically.

Bets are easy to revise and remove, and it’s otherwise quite clear and easy to use.

Cash outs are available on selected bets, and you’ll see whether you can cash out by looking at your betslip. Cash outs are also available for qualifying multi bets — again, just check your betslip to see if it’s available.

In-Play Betting at BetRegal Sports

In-play betting was a dream in our BetRegal Sports review, as they have just a ton of stuff going on live during the big games. Just click on the In-play tab, and you’ll see every game that is being played live around the world at that time.

Click on the game you want to have a gander at, and stats and odds are updated in real-time so you can have a crack as it happens.

Live Streaming at BetRegal Sports

In the age of copyright and legal rights, sadly there aren’t too many sports leagues that give away their coverage for free. This extends to BetRegal Sports where there aren’t any live video streams of games — or at least that we could find.

In saying that, the in-play coverage of the big games are excellent, and would make a great companion on your phone or laptop while you’re watching the match on the telly.

Think of BetRegal Sports as something to make your viewing experience way better than just listening to Justin Marshall shout “YES BOY” instead of actual, useful insight.

There’s a lot going on at BetRegal Sports, especially since they have a live casino and esports section as well as sports betting. But once you have a look around, you should be able to find what you are looking for pretty easily.

In our BetRegal Sports review, we found it’s not the prettiest user interface we’ve ever seen, but it gets the job done offering up dozens of sports and thousands of live games.

We did find some errors, like the cursor jumping out of our text box when we were talking to support, but that might just have been the browser we were using. Things were sometimes a little slow to load, but it always gets to where you want to go.

If you are browsing from your mobile device, the BetRegal Sports mobile site provides pretty much the same experience as the desktop site. Things are rearranged a bit to fit everything on a small screen, but all of the features are there.
