You’re getting a really solid range of both sports and markets at Karamba. We never know what to expect with some of the smaller brands, but we were genuinely impressed with what we saw at Karamba and reckon they could go head to head with many of the bigger brands in the industry.
Like most, football and horse racing play centre stage in terms of depth. But that being said, they have a great range of other sports as well, with tennis, greyhound racing, boxing (and UFC), darts and even e-sports being some of the standouts. Signing up for your account at Karamba will take just a couple of minutes. It’s one of the fastest registration processes that you will find. You will need to include things like name, address, DOB, telephone and then create a username and password to match as well.
One thing that we did want to note is that when you go to make your deposit you will be greeted with a message about how safe your funds are. The UK Gambling Commission has three tiers that bookies must adhere to from low, medium and high protection.
Karamba has medium protection which means that your money is kept in an account that is separate from company funds. So, if anything did go wrong and the company folded, your money would not be part of any insolvency and that you would get your money back. This is a big tick for us!

Styling is always subjective and whilst the blue/grey colour scheme isn’t our cup of tea, we know that many do like it. We certainly wouldn’t dock marks for this, put it that way.
There’s no dedicated app for mobile, which is a bit of a shame, but you can access the site in your mobile browser to get what would essentially be an “app” layout anyway.
It looks amazing on mobile and we would say that it’s better here than desktop. The live betting section is sensational, and the match centre works brilliantly well.
If there were one negative here, we would say that it was a bit clumsy at times. It’s almost as if it lags a little, so you do need to be patient. Once you get used to it, it’s fine though.

Our Verdict
Karamba has been an impressive sports betting nz site to test. We don’t come into these reviews with any expectations or at least try not to, but we must say that we were pleasantly surprised by what they have managed to achieve so far.
The inclusion of so many features, such as the live betting sections, KaramBot and KaramBoost were brilliant and they add huge depth to the bookmaker as a result.
There were a few niggles, mainly with the functionality of the mobile site, but nothing that can’t be fixed with relatively easy software updates that will no doubt come.
Overall, a bookmaker that is well worth checking out!
