FanTeam Review 2025

Reviewed by

FanTeam landed in the UK market back in 2013 and instantly became a solid choice for sports bettors.

Despite being one of the newer betting sites, FanTeam has carved out a reputation as being a bookie with competitive odds. It’s owned by Norwegian brand Scout Gaming.

Once I landed on the FanTeam homepage, I immediately noticed the sharp green header, and the huge amount of space given to football markets.

There are odds for upcoming matches from leagues in the middle east, Europe and the Americas, along with in-play betting odds.

I also noticed the huge Fantasy section, which isn’t a surprise, as FanTeam specialises in this area.

However, it’s worth pointing out that FanTeam has less sports to bet on compared to other UK betting sites (more on this later).

The bookie’s welcome offer, a ‘bet & get’ promotion also features prominently on the landing page. Below we’ll run you through everything you need to know about FanTeam.

FanTeam Pros
  • Competitive odds
  • Excellent fantasy betting options
  • Straightforward bet & get welcome offer
FanTeam Cons
  • Limited betting markets
  • No cash out

FanTeam Sign up Offer

Punters can unlock a Bet £10, Get £20 sign up offer when they create an account with FanTeam.

The bonus is easy to understand and use. Simply join FanTeam and make a deposit of £10 or more.

You’ll then need to place a bet of at least £10, at odds of 2.0 or greater. Once your bet settles, you’ll receive your free bet, regardless of the result.

It’s worth noting that the free bets are awarded in the form of two £5 free bets and five £2 fantasy tickets.

The FanTeam sign up offer must be claimed within 30 days of creating your account, and the free bets are only valid for one month.

In-Play Betting Options & Features

Live betting is given special attention at FanTeam. You can find the in-play section on the left hand side of the homepage, and I saw odds on football, basketball, hockey and American football.

Each live event had multiple betting markets available, with the most popular being the match result and over/under markets.

There’s also a Starting Soon tab that will give you odds on games and events happening later in the day.

It would be nice to see more in-play betting options at FanTeam, but as the number of sports you can bet on is so limited, I wasn’t surprised to see a slightly limited section.

Unfortunately, FanTeam offers neither live streaming, or cash out to it's bettors/

Bet builder

FanTeam does not offer a bet builder tool on any sport currently.

However, given their extensive fantasy sports tool and all the player prop options that brings, it feels like a natural progression for them to add bet builders to certain sports in the near future.

FanTeam Mobile Betting Review

Mobile betting is now more popular than ever - with punters choosing to bet while on the move.

This shift in preference is mirrored by FanTeam’s excellent mobile site. I found it extremely easy to use, and could hop from section to section without any hassle.

All the information is streamlined to fit perfectly on your phone screen, and it contains all the same features as the desktop version.

There’s also a FanTeam betting app that enables punters to log in with face ID, and bet with just the push of a button.

It’s worth noting that most of the best betting apps will require around 100mb of space on your device, and may need to be updated from time to time.

Customer Support

Customer support is taken very seriously at FanTeam, which is always the sign of a good betting site.

You can reach out to the customer support team 24/7, using either email (support@fanteam.com) or the helpful FAQ section.

I personally preferred the email option, as you can ask more detailed questions. I received a response from a competent member of the care team within a couple of hours.

Having this support on hand gives punters the opportunity to bet with peace of mind that help is only an email away.

Responsible Gambling at FanTeam

Responsible gambling should always be at the forefront of your mind when you’re placing bets.

Any bookie worth their salt will have a number of measures in place to protect punters who may be worried about their betting.

Being a fully licensed and regulated bookie, FanTeam offers a number of tools for bettors, including session limits, deposit limits, self exclusion and account closure.

Alternatively, if you’re worried about your betting, you can reach out to a specialist, with links to several organisations at the bottom of each page of the FanTeam site and app.

Why Should You Bet With FanTeam?

FanTeam is a fun and exciting bookie that has plenty to offer UK punters.

It’s got competitive odds across several sports, and finding and placing bets is very easy.

You also have the added bonus of the site being Europe’s biggest Fantasy Sports site - if you’re a fan of that sort of thing.

I found the site easy to use, with some great live betting features. Along with that, there’s a decent welcome bonus and 24/7 customer support.

There might not be as many betting options as at some major competitors, but there’s more than enough for any punter to get their teeth into.

Over time, I’d love to see the addition of bet builders, more sports to bet on, and maybe even live streaming.

But for now, I enjoyed betting with FanTeam and experiencing something different to the norm.

Honestly, Fanteam feels more like a fantasy league gone turbo than a normal bookie. Been on it since Euro 2024 and the switch between fantasy and betting is clas

Wasn’t sure if it was proper betting or just fantasy stuff but turns out it’s both. Signed up easy, odds are fair enough

Got a small free bet when I joined which was neat. The app’s stable, maybe not the prettiest, but it works. Football odds are bang in line with others and cricket’s been added recently

Bit of a learning curve if you’re not into fantasy, but I rate it. Used bet builder on a few Arsenal games

I bounce between a few bookies but Fanteam’s app runs the best on my phone. Withdrawals are same-day and in-play betting’s sharp

Started as a casual fantasy player, now it’s my main betting site. The app’s reliable, odds are fair, and I’ve had consistent payouts. The hybrid setup makes matchdays more fun

Fanteam’s different from your average bookie and I quite like that. Feels more strategic. I’ve used it for fantasy tournaments and cheeky football bets
