FanTeam Betting Review (2026) - Fantasy Sports Meets Sportsbook

Reviewed by

FanTeam pairs its sportsbook with fantasy sports competitions using real athletes, a combination few UK sites attempt.

Football, basketball, tennis and American football sit alongside daily, weekly and season-long fantasy contests on the same platform.

A Bet Builder, Cash Out and live streaming form part of a decent bookmaker offering.

Here's what stood out during my testing of FanTeam.

FanTeam Pros & Cons

Pros

  • ✔️ FanTeam Bet Builder
  • ✔️ Daily Golden Boosts
  • ✔️ Numerous Live Streaming Options
  • ✔️ Cash Out Available
  • ✔️ Fantasy Contest Ticket

Cons

  • ❌ No Horse Racing
  • ❌ Limited Range of Sports
  • ❌ No VIP Program

Who Are They?

FanTeam is operated by Scout Limited, based in Malta.

This site is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) - licence no. 39669.

FanTeam Sports Betting Bonus

New UK customers can claim up to £40 in sportsbook free bets and a fantasy contest ticket after placing a qualifying bet.

This is a bet-and-get offer rather than a deposit-matched bonus, with the rewards released in three batches after the qualifying bet settles.

FanTeam Promo Code

No promo code is needed to claim this offer.

FanTeam New Player Terms and Conditions

  • Deposit £10 or more in your new account
  • Place a minimum £10 bet at odds of Evens (2.0) or greater to qualify for the offer
  • The qualifying bet must be placed within 30 days of registering
  • Cashed out, void or refunded bets do not count towards the offer
  • Once the qualifying bet settles, a £10 Bet Builder free bet and a £10 Fantasy Contest Ticket are credited
  • A £10 Multi free bet follows 48 hours later
  • A £10 Live/In-Play free bet follows 72 hours after the qualifying bet settles
  • The Bet Builder and Multi free bets carry a minimum odds requirement of 3/1 (4.0)
  • All free bets expire 14 days after being credited, and the stake is not returned with winnings

Is the FanTeam Betting Bonus Worth It?

This is a modest bet-and-get offer next to some rival free bets welcome bonuses, and it's straightforward to qualify for.

Splitting the reward across singles, multis, live bets and a fantasy contest ticket gives new players a taste of most of the site rather than one lump sum.

Key Benefits:

✔️ Fantasy Contest Ticket - New players get a free run at FanTeam's fantasy contests alongside the usual free bets

✔️ Live/In-Play Free Bet - One of the three free bets is reserved specifically for live and in-play markets

✔️ Split Free Bet Structure - Rewards land across singles, multis and live bets rather than one bet type

Who is This Bonus Best For?

✔️ Bettors curious about daily fantasy sports will appreciate getting a contest ticket alongside their free bets

✔️ Football fans get the most value given the depth of coverage on Premier League and European fixtures

✔️ Bettors who like trying different bet types will enjoy the spread across singles, multis and live markets

Regular Rewards

Being a different set-up to other betting sites in the UK market, ongoing promotions for existing FanTeam players are on the thinner side - these include:

  • Golden Boosts - Enhanced odds on selected daily fixtures, typically covering the day's biggest football matches
  • Fantasy Contests - Daily, weekly and season-long fantasy competitions with guaranteed prize pools across football, basketball, golf and more
  • Achievement System - Players earn experience points for milestones like tournament entries, bet stakes and trying new sports, unlocking levels with rewards along the way

As of writing, FanTeam does not offer a VIP program.

FanTeam Payment & Withdrawal Options

I discovered getting money in and out covers a solid range of payment methods for UK bettors.

Accepted methods include Skrill, debit cards, PayPal, Trustly, Neteller and Klarna, with bank transfer available for withdrawals only.

The minimum deposit and withdrawal amount is £10, and there's no fee on deposits.

Withdrawals are submitted for payment within five business days of request, and there's no maximum withdrawal limit for UK customers.

The first two withdrawals each month are free, after which cards and e-wallets carry a 2.5% fee (minimum £1) and bank transfers a flat £1 fee.

Know Your Customer (KYC) Process

Like all UK customers I had to complete verification before I could play any games on the site, rather than waiting until a first withdrawal.

Electronic checks against databases such as credit referencing agencies are usually instant, although manual checks on proof of identity (passport, driving licence or national ID) and proof of address dated within the last three months took around 24 hours.

UK customers can use a driving licence or provisional licence to cover both identity and address in one document.

FanTeam Site Features

FanTeam's biggest selling point is combining a sportsbook with a fully-fledged fantasy sports platform under one login, which is not something most UK bookmakers attempt.

Integrated Fantasy Contests

Daily, weekly and season-long fantasy competitions run alongside the sportsbook, using real athletes and the same account balance as your bets.

This is a genuine point of difference in the UK market, where fantasy sports and traditional betting are almost always kept as separate products entirely.

FanTeam Bet Builder

The Bet Builder tool lets players combine multiple selections from the same match into a single punt.

Golden Boosts

Enhanced odds are published on selected fixtures most days, typically covering the day's most popular football matches.

Full Cash Out

Cash Out is available across eligible sportsbook markets, letting bettors settle a bet early rather than waiting for full time.

Live Streaming Options

Selected sporting events can be streamed live on-site for registered customers.

This adds another reason to keep a balance in play beyond the betting markets themselves.

FanTeam Mobile App

The FanTeam mobile app is available on both iOS and Android devices.

  • App Store: 3.0★ (31+ reviews)
  • Google Play Store: 2.2★ (16+ reviews)

Player feedback across both stores skews negative, with recurring complaints about clunky, unresponsive navigation, occasional connectivity errors and restrictive Bet Builder markets that only allow one player selection where rivals allow more.

Customer Support

Phone support is 24/7, but live chat is frustratingly hard to find and I only found it by searching online, with no homepage link.

You must open an unrelated FAQ article and answer "yes" to "do you need more help?" before an option appears. This is convoluted for something that should be basic.

An AI bot then takes your name and date of birth before a human takes over, which happened within a minute for me.

Email and social channels are also available.

Responsible Gambling

Live chat is advertised as available 24 hours a day, however when I tried the live chat it wasn't staffed, with the widget instead switching to an offline contact form.

Email support is also available and this is likely the more reliable route outside of live agent hours.

Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours, and gambling-related complaints must be concluded within 8 weeks.

If unresolved, UK customers can escalate to the Independent Betting Adjudication Service for independent adjudication.

Things to Note

A few points worth weighing up before signing up to FanTeam.

No Horse Racing

FanTeam's sportsbook does not currently offer any horse racing markets, which is a notable gap for UK bettors.

Limited Range of Sports

The sportsbook leans heavily on football, with narrower coverage of other sports compared to some rival bookmakers.

No VIP Program

There is currently no VIP program in place to reward loyal players with extra perks.

Is FanTeam the Right Betting Site for Me?

FanTeam's appeal comes down to one thing: it is one of the very few UK sites putting a full daily fantasy sports platform alongside a traditional sportsbook - using the same account and balance for both.

The welcome offer reflects that hybrid approach too, splitting £40 in rewards across free bets and a fantasy contest ticket.

Football is where the sportsbook is strongest, backed by a Bet Builder tool and regular Golden Boosts on selected fixtures, while Cash Out and live streaming add further value.

Existing-player promotions are on the thin side and there's currently no VIP program to reward loyal players. The sportsbook also has no horse racing markets and leans heavily on football elsewhere, with narrower coverage of other sports than some UK rivals offer.

Overall, FanTeam earns its place through variety rather than flash, and I would recommend it to bettors who want a fantasy sports outlet alongside their regular betting.

Honestly, Fanteam feels more like a fantasy league gone turbo than a normal bookie. Been on it since Euro 2024 and the switch between fantasy and betting is clas

Wasn’t sure if it was proper betting or just fantasy stuff but turns out it’s both. Signed up easy, odds are fair enough

Got a small free bet when I joined which was neat. The app’s stable, maybe not the prettiest, but it works. Football odds are bang in line with others and cricket’s been added recently

Bit of a learning curve if you’re not into fantasy, but I rate it. Used bet builder on a few Arsenal games

I bounce between a few bookies but Fanteam’s app runs the best on my phone. Withdrawals are same-day and in-play betting’s sharp

Started as a casual fantasy player, now it’s my main betting site. The app’s reliable, odds are fair, and I’ve had consistent payouts. The hybrid setup makes matchdays more fun

Fanteam’s different from your average bookie and I quite like that. Feels more strategic. I’ve used it for fantasy tournaments and cheeky football bets
