Can Game Week 2 Fantasy Stars Back Up Again This Weekend?

Four teams have a 100% win record after the opening two rounds of the 2026/27 Premier League season, with previous champions Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea joined by newly-promoted Hull City.

The East Yorkshire side are silencing their pre-season critics who didn't give them a chance of staying up, but a maximum six points from their matches against Manchester United and fellow new boys Coventry City have seen the Tigers show their teeth.

Manager Sergej Jakirovic stands a very good chance of winning August's Manager of the Month award, but he can do without the curse that often comes with the accolade.

This article highlights the leading weekly points scorers in Fantasy Premier League and we ask the question - can they back it up again this weekend with the latest odds?

Big Weekend For Bruno

Not only did Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes take home the match ball following his hat-trick in his side's 5-2 win over Ipswich at Old Trafford, he also took the honours for highest score in the second round of Premier League fixtures.

The Portuguese had four goal involvements for the first time in his United career and included an assist for Bryan Mbeumo's goal, to finish the game with a massive 23 points.

Business As Usual For Haaland

If Erling Haaland ever decides he wants to leave Manchester City, then he might want to consider a switch to Crystal Palace.

It might seem a strange move, but Selhurst Park is his most profitable ground away from the Etihad Stadium.

A double on Friday night took the Norwegian's total to seven in five visits to the venue and ensured City started their campaign with back-to-back wins.

Haaland will hope to add to his goals this weekend when City take on Coventry, who are managed by their former player Frank Lampard.

Tarkowski Hits The Target

If you can buy a defender who can score goals, then your weekly points total will be boosted and Everton's James Tarkowski ticked that box this weekend.

Despite missing out on a clean sheet, the defender scored a dramatic late equaliser for the Toffees to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

Tarkowski is off to a fast start in this season's Fantasy Premier League with 18 points so far.

Next up is a home game with Manchester United, who won 1-0 on their last visit to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Tzolakis Stays Top Of The Keepers

Only two goalkeepers have yet to be beaten so far this season, Arsenal's David Raya and Hull City's Konstantinos Tzolakis.

The Greek was last week's top stopper and he retained his place on top of the pile thanks to another impressive display between the posts for the newly-promoted side.

Next up for Tzolakis and the Tigers, is a home game with Aston Villa on Saturday evening.
