Boris Johnson, Frankie Dettori, Abbey Clancy and Susanna Reid could all soon be living together- on the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

According to betting sites, there has been a huge gamble on the former UK Prime Minister to swap Blighty for Bushtucker Trials, while ex-Premier League referee Mike Dean is also one of the frontrunners to appear on the show - as well as former footballers Peter Crouch and Micah Richards.

Jockey Frankie Dettori is used to being a short-priced favourite in races, and he is currently the odds-on favourite to be lining up in the jungle, following his upcoming retirement.

This Morning presenter Josie Gibson isn't even named as one of the potential campmates, following a report in The Sun last week that she has signed a huge deal to star in the jungle later this year.

Coronation Street star Alan Halsall is also missing in the market - after being a double-figure price in May - no doubt due to rumours he is to swap the Corrie cobbles for the Australian outback in the upcoming 23rd series later this year.

Boris Shortens For Jungle Jaunt

After former MP Matt Hancock's controversial appearance in the Australian jungle last year, former PM Johnson could be following in his footsteps.

His price to take part in this year's series has come in from a massive 80/1 in May to just 6/1 on I'm A Celebrity betting sites.

But if Boris turns up Down Under, the show is sure to be under even more scrutiny than it was when former Home Secretary Hancock, who went on to finish third, took part in 2022.

Dettori was a 2/1 shot two months ago, but the champion jockey is now just 2/5 to be heading to Oz for the show.

The jockey admitted in June that he will no doubt shed a tear on October 21, his last day of riding in Britain, but he might shed a few more if he takes part in the jungle-based series and comes face to face with some creepy crawlies.

Football Stars Fancied To Enter I’m A Celeb

One potential campmate who could keep things in order is ex-referee Dean, who is 7/2 with William Hill to be a part of the series.

Should he sign up, he may be living alongside some familiar faces, with former Premier League stars Crouch and Richards both 4/1 to take part, while John Barnes is 25/1, and Michael Owen and Paul Scholes are available at 50/1

Football manager Neil Warnock has clashed with Dean on several occasions, but he looks unlikely to take part in the jungle, despite his 14/1 price, unless he gets the sack from his current club Huddersfield before the end of the year.

If Crouch doesn't take part, then perhaps his wife Abbey Clancy might. The model is 12/1 to appear on the show, just a tad shorter than Good Morning Britain host Reid (14/1), while former Soccer Saturday host Jeff Stelling is a 10/1 chance.

Love Islanders Down Under?

One set of stars who are no strangers to being filmed while living together in a foreign habitat are the Love Islanders.

Several have been linked to this year's I'm A Celebrity series, with Ekin-Su Culculoglu the favourite out of the dating show's alumni at 10/1 on specials betting sites.

Ekin-Su Culculoglu

Ekin-Su and Davide Sanclimenti won the 2022 summer series, but have since split up.

However, there was recent speculation they could have got back together after they were spotted leaving a party together.

If they are still separated, then it could be quite awkward if Davide were to join Ekin-Su Down Under.

He is 14/1 to jet to the jungle, the same price as former Love Islanders Tommy Fury - who might need the cash injection for his upcoming nuptials to fiancee Molly-Mae Hague, after the pair announced their engagement recently - and Chris Hughes.

Curtis Pritchard (16/1) could also be in the conversation, as could Gemma Owen.

The ex Love Island star is 20/1 to be part of I'm A Celebrity 2023, and it could be the first-ever father-daughter partnership in the jungle if she and 50/1 shot and former England striker Michael both sign up.

Soap Stars In Oz

Coronation Street star Halsall was 16/1 in May to take part in I'm A Celebrity, but following newspaper reports linking him to the jungle, he is now no longer listed on betting apps.

It's unlikely there will be two Weatherfield residents Down Under, but if there is then 16/1 shot Jack P Shepherd could be worth a poke.

Other soap stars who might be put through their paces by co-hosts Ant and Dec on the show include former EastEnders star Danny Dyer, who is just 6/1

Albert Square legends Patsy Palmer and Steve McFadden, famed for playing Bianca Jackson and Phil Mitchell respectively, are 20/1 shots.

What's more, it's 33/1 that Steve's on-screen brother Ross Kemp, who played Phil's sibling Grant Mitchell in the soap, appears on the upcoming 23rd series.

In May, former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield was 40/1 to take part in the show, after he admitted to lying about having an affair with a younger ITV employee.

But he is no longer listed in the market, so it appears he is less likely to be rocking up in the jungle than 200/1 shots Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Other longshots in the William Hill market include Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell at 100/1, while Piers Morgan - who has previously made no secret of his views on Meghan - is 80/1 to take part.

While it might be TV gold if Piers and Meghan had to team up to do a Bushtucker Trial together, the same could be said if the likes of singer Liam Gallagher (50/1) or no-nonsense celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay (50/1) were on TV tasked with taking on creepy crawlies to win food.
