Cristiano Ronaldo TV Show Odds: McAvoy And Haaland To Score Roles?
Cristiano Ronaldo can seemingly do it all, and that includes starring in and producing a brand-new football drama.
The Portugal legend and Hollywood filmmaker Matthew Vaughn are said to be working on a TV show, Day 1s, which will feature CR7, and the revelation has sparked speculation on betting sites about who might co-star alongside the former Real Madrid forward.
According to The Sun newspaper, Homeland actor Damian Lewis has landed the lead role in the series about a fictional football agent, Stanley Dalton.
Lewis has been spotted filming at Barnet's stadium, The Hive, and former France star Thierry Henry has also been seen on set, with the drama expected to feature British rapper Dave and newcomer Carlotta Banat.

Day 1s is to be made by Ronaldo and Vaughn's joint-venture production company, UR-Marv Studios.
While Ronaldo has a huge contacts book of footballer friends who might be interested in the production, Vaughn has lots of experienced actors he's worked with, too.
One person who loves football and acting is Scottish star James McAvoy, who is a lifelong Celtic fan.
McAvoy is well known to Vaughn, having been directed by him in X-Men: First Class, in which he portrayed Charles Xavier.

After already attracting Lewis for the project, it would be another huge coup to sign up McAvoy, and he is 6/4 favourite on most betting apps to land a part in the project.
McAvoy's X-Men co-star Jennifer Lawrence (6/1) would also be a massive signing for the drama, as would Welsh actor Taron Egerton.
Vaughn knows all about Egerton after working with him on the Kingsman film franchise, and he is just 2/1 to score a role in Day 1s.
Egerton's Welsh compatriot Rhys Ifans could also sign up for the show.
The House of Dragon star is 8/1, after previously starring in Vaughn's 2021 movie The King's Man.

Welsh Wizard To Score Day 1s Role?
Another Welsh wonder who could make an appearance in Day 1s is Ronaldo's former Real Madrid teammate, Gareth Bale.
The Welsh wizard is a 13/8 shot to feature in the drama, and his former Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid colleague Luka Modric isn't far behind at 7/2.
Ronaldo has remained friends with Modric following their Madrid days, so it would make sense for the Croatian midfielder to sign up for the project.
With filming taking place in England, it would also be convenient to recruit a current Premier League star - and there is no bigger than Manchester City's Erling Haaland (15/8).
Norway striker Haaland was already a huge star prior to the recent World Cup, but his stock has risen even further with meme after meme being created about him.
He also impressed on the pitch, hitting the back of the net seven times for his country.
Former Brazil footballers Ronaldinho (4/1) and Ronaldo (7/1), known as R9, also made an impression at the World Cup.
They received a mixed reaction when they appeared alongside pop megastar Madonna during the closing ceremony, but they would no doubt be welcome additions to Day 1s.
Keane's Ronaldo Reunion
If Ronaldo and Vaughn's football drama needs real-life pundits, CR7 might want to look to some of his former Manchester United teammates.
Ex-Ireland midfielder Roy Keane (5/2) and former England right-back Gary Neville (4/1) have both made names for themselves as pundits in recent years, and it wouldn't be a surprise if they appeared in this, too.
The pair also appear alongside former England women's footballer Jill Scott in the hit football podcast and YouTube series Stick to Football.
Scott - who has TV experience from starring in children's series Football Fantastics - is a 9/2 shot to feature in Day 1s.
However, former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale actress Gemma Atkinson, who previously dated Ronaldo, is unlikely to feature in this production.
Despite remaining on good terms with Ronaldo, Gemma - who previously admitted she turned down huge money to criticise her ex, because she had nothing bad to say about him - is a 10/1 outsider to appear in the drama.
