The Dancing on Ice final will take place on Sunday, March 10, and there is a clear favourite on betting sites

In a series where several stars have topped the market, Miles Nazaire looks set to go into this weekend's finale with the favourite tag.

Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards and Amber Davies, who were eliminated seventh and eighth respectively, were among the celebrities who were favourites to win the show throughout the 16th series.

It will be an emotional finale as judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean once again perform their iconic Bolero routine, just weeks after confirming they will retire from ice-skating next year

The pair will bow out from the sport with a farewell tour in 2025, but have insisted they are not going anywhere from Dancing on Ice just yet.

While that remains to be seen, the main focus on Sunday night will be the celebrity contestants, and it is all to skate for as all four stars will head into the showpiece at single-figure prices.

Miles Can Go Far In Finale

Made in Chelsea star Miles is 5/4 on specials betting sites to win this year's series, but he will go into the final off the back of receiving the lowest score in the semi-final.

It doesn't sound like perfect preparation, and those who have Miles carrying their money might be concerned, but his ice-skating partner Vanessa Bauer will certainly be hoping they can do the business on Sunday.

She won the 10th series in 2018 with X Factor star Jake Quickenden, but has finished runner-up four times in the following five seasons since.

Should Miles and Vanessa fall at the final hurdle, Olympian Greg Rutherford, who earned the highest score of 41.5 points last weekend, will look to leapfrog him to the title.

Bookmakers may not be too surprised that Miles and Greg are first and second favourite to triumph in the final, after they started the contest as second (9/2) and third favourite (11/2) respectively.

Adele Can Provide Final Shock

One of the surprise packages of the series has been Adele Roberts.

The radio DJ was a 25/1 outsider on specials betting sites a few days before the 16th series got underway, but she is now 9/2 with BetVictor to upset the top two in the market and land the trophy.

Adele has already made show history after becoming the first-ever contestant to skate with a stoma, and if she wins this year's season, she will become the first woman to triumph on Dancing on Ice since Beth Tweddle's 2013 victory.

On paper, Adele certainly deserves the title, after topping the leaderboard on three occasions - the joint most with Amber, who was eliminated in last week's semi-final - and more than any of her fellow finalists.

Ryan To Rediscover Early Form?

Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas is propping up the market on betting apps at 6/1

Despite this, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if he manage to overcome his odds and triumph on Sunday.

If he was to be successful, it would be a full circle moment for Ryan, who topped the leaderboard way back on week one - but he hasn't managed to repeat that feat since.

He started the series as a 7/1 chance, but Ryan ending the season as a 6/1 winner shouldn't be ruled out.
