Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special Odds: Scarlett The Festive Favourite

This year's Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special looks set to be a tear-jerker with co-hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman due to front the show for the final time.
But there will also be plenty of blood, sweat and tears poured out onto the dancefloor, where six stars - Brian McFadden, Melanie Blatt, Scarlett Moffatt, Babatunde Aleshe, Nicholas Bailey and Jodie Ounsley - are facing off on betting sites in a bid to be crowned Strictly Christmas Champion 2025.
Regular Strictly judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke will oversee the stars' festive routines, but who will dance to Strictly victory?
Ringer Scarlett Tipped For Glory
Scarlett Moffatt's upcoming appearance in this year's Strictly Christmas episode has caused some controversy.
Following the announcement, some viewers took to social media to complain about her being part of the programme, because she was a ballroom dancer as a youngster and was even reportedly trained by now-judge Anton.
She previously wrote in her book: "I'd love to go on Strictly, but I just don't think they'd let me on.
"I’m basically a ringer, as I’ve danced against some of the professionals in competitions when I was younger."
Despite this, Scarlett admitted ahead of the festive special that she didn't "truly appreciate" just "how much effort goes into each one" of the Strictly dances.
If Scarlett can relive her dancing roots on the festive edition of the Latin and ballroom show then she should live up to her favouritism tag on betting apps.
The former Gogglebox star is 6/5 to win this year's Strictly Christmas special, but if she slips up then she could have a Gladiator breathing down her neck on the dancefloor.
Jodie Ounsley - aka Fury - is 15/8 second favourite to triumph, after admitting she "surprised" herself during the contest.
Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special 2025 Odds:
Contestant | Odds | Probability |
Scarlett Moffatt | 6/5 | 45.5% |
Jodie Ounsley | 15/8 | 34.8% |
Brian McFadden | 2/1 | 33.3% |
Nicholas Bailey | 3/1 | 25% |
Melanie Blatt | 4/1 | 20% |
Babatunde Aleshe | 5/1 | 16.7% |
Asked what she will be taking away from her Strictly experience, she said: "I think having more confidence in myself. That’s the biggest thing coming into it.
"I am hard on myself, and I almost didn’t do Strictly at all as I just thought 'Oh, I can't do that!'
"But now actually coming into it, I've surprised myself."
Stress-Free Brian
Brian McFadden isn't too far behind at 2/1 to win this year's Strictly, and he isn't feeling the pressure ahead of the Christmas Day episode.
He said: "We don't have the same stress as you would do in the main show, because there's no next week for us.
"It's all leading up to this one night, and there's no pressure, as we're all going home! Everyone just seems to be just enjoying the experience. I'm absolutely loving it."
However, the Westlife singer admitted there is "nothing" from his music career that will help him "dancing-wise".
EastEnders actor Nicholas Bailey (3/1) also didn't consider himself a dancer before he started rehearsing for the festive special.
He added: "I didn't see myself as a dancer, I call myself a dancer. Because I'm dancing!
"I'm very clear on what I'm good at and what I'm not good at.
"I know that very well, but I'm always trying to push the envelope a bit and learn something new. I don't think you ever stop learning."
Baba And Blatt's Strictly Challenge
Babatunde Aleshe is propping up the market as the 5/1 outsider, just behind All Saints singer Melanie Blatt (4/1).
Both admitted they have found the show a challenge from a physical point of view.
Babatunde said: "The whole experience has pushed me out of my comfort zone as I'm not a dancer at all. I have sweated from day one, and it turns out I have more sweat to give.
"It's been a challenge! I go to the gym and I box as well, and even then, I don't sweat like this. This is something else!"
However, comedian Baba admitted he has been "really having fun" during rehearsals.
Melanie has told viewers to expect "lots of LOLs" from her Christmas Day dance, and she joked the main thing she will take away from the experience is "how unfit" she is.
She quipped: "That’s the main thing I’ll take away! That I need to go to the gym more!"
