Two Arrested Over Alleged Illegal Casino In Bristol After Police Raid
A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of gambling offences after police, the Gambling Commission and the Harbourside neighbourhood policing team searched premises linked to an alleged illegal casino in Bristol.
What Police Said
A 36-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were arrested and have since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
Sergeant Michael Friis said: "Community intelligence plays a vital role in tackling criminal activity and keeping our neighbourhoods safe." He urged anyone with concerns about "suspicious or illegal activity" in their area to report it to police, in the force’s public appeal.
