BetMGM Casino Alberta Pre-Registration Is Now Open
BetMGM has opened pre-registration for Alberta players, giving anyone in the province the chance to get their account set up ahead of the regulated iGaming market going live on 13 July 2026.
It's a straightforward process.
You sign up now, your account sits ready, and from 13 July you can deposit and play without having to go through registration on launch day when the site will inevitably be busy.
What is pre-registration and why does it matter?
BetMGM Alberta Pre-registration isn't unique - several operators entering the province are hoping to provide early sign-up in the final days before launch.
The idea is simple: you register your details, verify your identity, and have a fully active account waiting for you on day one.
For players it means skipping a queue.
For operators it means a head start on acquiring customers before competitors go live.
BetMGM announced its Alberta pre-registration on 26 June, making it one of the later operators to open early sign-up but still well ahead of the 13 July deadline.
What BetMGM is bringing to Alberta
BetMGM arrives to the Alberta iGaming market as a three-product platform covering casino, sportsbook, and poker under a single account. It's the only day-one Alberta operator offering all three under one login.
On the casino side, Alberta players can expect over 4,000 titles at launch, including slots, table games, live dealer games, and exclusive BetMGM content streamed live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The progressive jackpot network is being extended to include Alberta from day one, connecting local players to the same prize pools as players across Ontario and North America.
The sportsbook covers all the major leagues, NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, CFL and more, with live betting and same-game parlays expected from launch.
BetMGM has also confirmed a poker product for Alberta, which no other confirmed day-one operator is bringing.
How to pre-register for BetMGM in Alberta
- Visit BetMGM and select Alberta as your province
- Enter your email address and create a password
- Provide your personal details including name, date of birth, and address
- Complete identity verification - BetMGM may ask for a copy of valid ID
- Confirm your location within Alberta using the geolocation prompt
Once that's done, your account is ready. You won't be able to deposit or play until 13 July, but everything will be in place so you can go straight in on launch day.
A note on the welcome bonus

Is BetMGM confirmed for 13 July?
Yes. BetMGM is on the AGLC's Gaming Registrations list and CEO Adam Greenblatt has publicly committed to the 13 July launch date. This includes the Corus Entertainment media partnership covering radio, podcasts, and streaming across the province, and ambassador partnerships with Connor McDavid and Wayne Gretzky.
