Incentive Games Launches With bet365 In Alberta As Suppliers Rush Canada's Newest Market

Incentive Games has taken five of its titles live with bet365 in Alberta, its first launch in the province and the latest sign of how fast suppliers are moving into Canada's newest regulated online casino market.
The Edinburgh-based B2B provider said on July 23, 2026 that its real-money division, Incentive Studios, had made Kicker, Mega Flight, Mega Flight Boost, Velocity and Squid Game Red Light Green Light Cashout available to bet365 players in the province.
Ahmed Baker, chief commercial officer at Incentive Games, said: "As one of the world's leading operators, bet365 has consistently demonstrated its commitment to delivering high-quality player experiences."
Rich Graham, bet365's associate vice-president of gaming, said: "We're really pleased to be furthering our partnership by being their first partner in Alberta." For Incentive, Alberta follows launches in Ontario, Brazil and Pennsylvania; its Canadian debut came with Quebec's Loto-Quebec, and it also supplies BetMGM in Ontario.
A Crowded Launch
Alberta opened its regulated market on July 13, 2026, becoming Canada's second competitive online jurisdiction after Ontario.
The Alberta iGaming Corporation runs the commercial market and Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis regulates it. Around 22 operator sites went live on day one against the government-owned Play Alberta platform, with more than 50 brands approved.
That scramble has produced a run of partnerships in a matter of weeks:
- bet365 launched its sportsbook and casino and signed the Canadian Football League as an official partner in Ontario and Alberta, ahead of the 113th Grey Cup in Calgary on November 15, 2026.
- FanDuel launched with an exclusive Light & Wonder deal bringing the Huff N' Puff slot series to Alberta, and renewed its own CFL partnership.
- DraftKings went live with its sportsbook, casino and Golden Nugget Online Gaming brand, its 34th North American jurisdiction.
- Pragmatic Play certified its slots and live casino portfolio.
- Evolution extended its live casino and slots content, supplied through Play Alberta since 2021, to licensed operators.
- Playson entered through Betty Casino, while Altenar secured approval for its sportsbook platform and Tonybet picked up an operator licence.
The supplier roster runs deeper still, with IGT PlayDigital, Aristocrat Interactive, Light & Wonder and Inspired Entertainment all live from the early days.
On the corporate side, Betsson bought Rhino Entertainment's Canadian arm, including Casino Days, and Entain moved its Sports Interaction and Party Casino brands into the province.
Why The Region Matters
Alberta is attractive because it is open and largely unclaimed. The province estimates unregulated operators held about 70% of Alberta's online play before launch, a pool of customers now up for grabs.
Operators keep 80% of net gaming revenue and the province takes 20%, after First Nations funding and a 3% responsible-gambling contribution (Alberta iGaming Corporation).
For suppliers such as Incentive Games, a second open Canadian market matters more than any single deal. Ontario proved that a competitive framework can pull players onto regulated platforms at scale, and Alberta gives content studios a second route in.
The next test is retention: whether the operators and suppliers landing this summer can convert Alberta's large offshore audience before the novelty fades.
