BetVictor Group Undergoing BV Group Re-Branding

Prominent online casinos and betting site operator BetVictor Group is changing its name to BV Group in an attempt to highlight its status as a multi-brand enterprise and business-to-business (B2B) technology solutions provider.
The Gibraltar-based firm began life from the east London suburb of Walthamstow in 1946 as a simple trackside ‘turf accountant’ and has slowly grown to become one of the world’s leading online and mobile gambling site names with customers in over 150 countries.
Inaugural Adjustment
Originally known as Victor Chandler International in honour of its trailblazing founder, the firm changed its name to BetVictor Group in 2012.
Today, they offer iGaming aficionados a diverse range of more than 700 online casino games, one of the best casino apps on the market, plus a diverse sportsbook with betting available on Gaelic games, rugby and horse racing to name a few.
This initial name-change was followed by a management reshuffle as major shareholder Michael Tabor purchased the business outright in May of 2014 and subsequently installed former Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment powerhouse Andreas Meinrad to serve as the operator’s Chief Executive Officer.

BetVictor.com today serves as BV Group’s main online casino and sports betting brand and this enterprise has recently been further increasing its recognition via a series of television and radio adverts featuring former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp.
With offices in Budapest and London, BV Group now employs over 400 people and partnered with British commercial radio station Heart FM in September of 2021 so as to launch the online bingo site Heart Bingo.
Licensed by regulators in Ireland, Canada, Malta, Germany, Gibraltar and the United Kingdom, the company then premiered the TalkSportBet.com sports wagering domain in cooperation with broadcaster Wireless Group Limited.
They then linked up with German newspaper Bild to roll out BildBet.de and brought the Parimatch remote casino to life via a relationship with Cypriot operator Parimatch.

Meinrad declared that the latest re-branding will allow his firm to define itself ‘more effectively’ and simultaneously highlight ‘how far the company has come from its bookmaker beginnings’.
