BC.Game Esports Exit IEM Beijing Qualifiers
BC.Game Esports, the Counter-Strike 2 team backed by online casino and sports betting operator BC.Game, was eliminated from the IEM Beijing 2026 Global Open Qualifier on August 23, 2026, losing 13-11 to Nemiga Gaming on Mirage in the round of 32, according to the tournament’s official bracket record.
BC.Game advanced through the earlier rounds of the single elimination qualifier with a bye, a win over Fortuna Domare, a forfeit win against Papillion and a 13-3 win over Aimclub, before meeting Nemiga in round five. Nemiga took a 7-5 lead into the second half and extended it to 11-5 before BC.Game rallied, eventually falling short 13-11.
The result knocks BC.Game out of contention for a place at IEM Beijing 2026, a $1.25 million tournament scheduled for November 2 to 8 in China, and denies the team a chance to add points to its Valve Regional Standings ranking through the event.
A Rough Month For The Operator-Backed Roster
The loss is BC.Game’s third open qualifier exit in a week, following two eliminations at the Stake Pulse Beat II Open Qualifiers.
It also follows a 2-1 defeat to 100 Thieves on LAN in the Esports World Cup 2026 Last Chance Qualifier earlier in August, which cost the team a place at the EWC despite Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev’s individual form.
BC.Game, ranked in the 80s on HLTV’s CS2 world ranking, built the roster around s1mple alongside Denis “electroNic” Sharipov, with recent additions Senzu and Ayush “mzinho” Batbold. The team has yet to convert its individual talent into consistent results at Tier 1 qualifiers this year.
