Bet365 Retires 'Never Ordinary' For New Brand

Bet365 has retired the marketing platform that carried its advertising for the past three years, unveiling a new global brand positioning called ‘We Know Betting’ to coincide with the start of the 2026/27 Premier League season.

The operator debuted a TV advert built around the new platform's ‘Reasons’ campaign ahead of Arsenal's 3-0 win over newly-promoted Coventry City on Friday, according to Bet365's own news channel.

‘We Know Betting’ replaces ‘Never Ordinary’, the platform Bet365 introduced in August 2023 and used for successive campaigns including 2024's ‘Breaking News’ spot and last season's UEFA Champions League activity.

Bet365 says the new positioning “celebrates more than 25 years at the forefront of digital betting” for the privately owned bookmaker, which was founded by the Coates family in Stoke-on-Trent in 2000 and has grown into one of the world's largest online sports betting and gaming companies without ever taking on outside investors.

Drummond Central Behind The Work

The campaign was produced in collaboration with Drummond Central, the Newcastle-based creative agency that has handled Bet365's brand advertising since at least 2023, including the Never Ordinary series and the operator's UEFA Champions League sponsorship activity.

Trade title EGR Intel described the launch as an “exciting next chapter” for the Bet365 brand, noting the switch was timed to land ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Drummond Central's earlier Never Ordinary work leaned on large-scale, effects-heavy production; its 2024 ‘Breaking News’ film alone ran to 28 shoot days, more than 150 characters and around 900 extras across a single 60-second spot.

A Wider Rollout

According to SBC News, which spoke to Bet365's Global Deputy Head of Brand Marketing, Ben Reeves, for an exclusive look at the campaign, the advert has already gone live in the UK and Denmark and is scheduled to roll out in Spain and Germany in the coming weeks.

The trade outlet reported the ad is designed to portray the life, products and experiences behind the Bet365 brand, marking a tonal shift away from the exaggerated set-piece stunts that defined Never Ordinary's biggest ads.

Timed For Kick-Off

The switch lands at the start of a Premier League season in which gambling sponsorship itself has changed shape. 2026/27 is the first campaign since clubs voluntarily agreed to withdraw betting logos from the front of their shirts, a shift that has pushed several operators toward heavier above-the-line brand advertising to maintain visibility around the league.

Rival Betfred also released a new TV advert for the new season, timed to debut at half-time of a Premier League fixture, underlining how bookmakers are leaning on broadcast creative rather than shirt branding to reach fans this year.

The rebrand also lands during a period of expansion for Bet365 outside the UK. The operator launched a separate ‘Winning is Everything’ campaign across the US and Canada in March 2026 through its newly appointed North American agency of record, VML, as it continues to build out its brand presence in regulated US states and Ontario alongside its long-established European markets.

That North American work runs under its own tagline rather than ‘We Know Betting’, suggesting the new UK-led platform is, for now, focused on Bet365's core European and Premier League-facing markets, which offers a comprehensive selection of markets on their betting app.
