Digitain Signs UK Turnkey Deal To Supply Silkbet's Launch

Silkbet Limited holds three remote licences from the UK Gambling Commission under account number 101183: casino, general betting standard for real events and general betting standard for virtual events, all active since May 7, 2026. 

The operator's site has not yet gone live. Digitain holds its own UKGC B2B licence under account number 63601. 

Its public register entry shows a gambling software and casino game host permission active since September 10, 2024, and a betting host permission for virtual events added on February 2, 2026, the certification Digitain has cited as the basis for its UK expansion push this year.

Dario Jurcic, Digitain's chief commercial officer for Europe and Africa, said the partnership reflects the company's wider strategy. “Our continued expansion across Europe is a key part of Digitain's commercial strategy, and partnerships such as this demonstrate the strength of our approach,” he said.

The deal lands as demand for certified B2B sportsbook technology in the UK has intensified since the market introduced a 40% remote gaming duty, raising the compliance bar for both operators and their technology suppliers. 

Supplier oversight obligations make certified technology partners a bigger consideration for incoming operators, and Digitain has positioned its UK certification work within a broader push into regulated European markets.
