MongolZ, MOUZ And PARIVISION Reach IEM Beijing Playoffs

The MongolZ, MOUZ and PARIVISION have booked their places in the IEM Beijing 2026 playoffs, while G2 Esports became one of the first teams eliminated from the $1.25 million event.

The second day of the group stage was played on November 3, 2026, and followed the format published by ESL Pro Tour.

In the double-elimination groups, winning an upper-bracket semi-final guarantees a playoff place. Teams that lose drop to the lower bracket, where one more defeat ends their tournament.

Group B: MOUZ And PARIVISION Advance

MOUZ secured their spot with a 2-0 win over BetBoom Team, taking Ancient 13-6 and Mirage 16-14. They had opened the event with a 2-0 victory over TYLOO.

PARIVISION then beat Team Liquid 2-0, winning Ancient 13-7 and Inferno 13-9, after an earlier 2-1 win over G2. Evgenii "FL1T" Lebedev led that series with 36 kills and a 1.48 rating.

The two now meet in the Group B upper final with a direct semi-final place at stake. BetBoom and Liquid drop to the lower bracket.

Group A: The MongolZ Through

The MongolZ opened with a 2-1 win over Legacy and then beat HEROIC 2-0 in the upper semi-final, taking Inferno 13-7.

The Nuke map was closer, with HEROIC forcing the contest to the wire before The MongolZ finished it. HEROIC drop to the lower bracket, where they face Team Falcons with elimination on the line.

G2 Eliminated By Aurora

Aurora kept their event alive by beating G2 2-1 in a Group B lower-bracket match. Aurora won Nuke 13-9, G2 answered with Inferno 13-9, and Aurora took Dust2 16-13 in overtime. Aurora had lost 0-2 to Liquid on day one, so they have not yet secured a playoff place and now face BetBoom in the lower bracket.

G2 finish in the 13th to 16th bracket, which pays $4,000. They join 9z Team and FaZe Clan in that bracket. 9z were beaten 2-0 by TYLOO in the elimination round.

ESL lists the total winnings at $1,250,000. The champion earns $125,000 in prize money plus a $235,000 club reward, the runner-up takes $50,000 plus $160,000, and third place takes $30,000 plus $130,000. Teams in 13th to 16th place receive prize money only.

The top three teams in each group advance to a six-team single-elimination playoff from November 6 to 8, 2026. Quarter-finals and semi-finals are best-of-three, there is a best-of-three third-place decider, and the grand final is best-of-five. The event is being held at the Bloomage Biotech Biohyalux ECM Arena in Beijing and features 16 teams.

What To Watch

The group stage finishes on November 4, when the remaining lower-bracket matches decide the last three playoff places.
