KRU Esports Clears Dantedeu5 to Explore Options

Jesus “Dantedeu5” Federico Larrosa, KRU Esports’ Duelist, has been given permission by the Argentine organisation to explore offers from other teams while he remains under contract, becoming the second KRU Valorant player cleared to test the market this month ahead of the 2027 season.

What Dantedeu5 Said

“I'm still under contract with KRU Esports, but I'm open to exploring new opportunities and listening to offers,” Dantedeu5 wrote on X, adding that he is open to all regions and to playing either Duelist or a flex role. According to the VCT Global Contract Database, his deal with KRU runs through the end of the 2028 season.

His situation mirrors that of in-game leader Matias “saadhak” Delipetro, whom KRU authorised on September 11, 2026 to explore his own options despite a contract running through 2027.

Both players remain on KRU’s roster while the organisation decides whether to retain or release them before the new season.

A Second Rebuild in Latin America South

KRU underwent a full roster rebuild last offseason after failing to qualify for Champions Paris, its first-ever no-show at Valorant’s marquee event, following a playoff loss to fellow Latin America South rival LEVIATAN.

Dantedeu5 was the only player retained from the previous lineup, and KRU built around him by signing Leonardo “mwzera” Serrati, Caio “silentzz” Morita, and the Champions-winning duo of Matias “saadhak” Delipetro and Felipe “Less” de Loyola Basso, both arriving after loan spells in EMEA.

What to Watch

Dantedeu5 signed with KRU in July 2025, ascending from the organisation’s affiliate side OXEN to replace Benjamin “adverso” Poblete midway through that Americas season, and has since become the team’s longest-tenured Duelist.

Now, with two of its most senior players cleared to leave, KRU faces a second consecutive offseason rebuild in Latin America South.

Roster uncertainty of this kind moves markets before it moves rosters. Latin America South esports betting books price outright and league futures well ahead of a new season, and a organisation losing two established starters at once typically triggers a re-rating of KRU’s 2027 odds until replacements, or contract extensions, are confirmed.
