Monte Name Rocketbet As New Title Partner
Ukrainian Counter-Strike 2 organisation Monte announced Rocketbet as its new title partner on November 2, 2026, adding another betting brand to the esports sponsorship market.
The news came from the team's own account on X, which described the deal as the start of a new journey. Financial terms and the length of the agreement were not disclosed.
Monte also posted a follow-up message the same morning inviting fans to register with the operator through a tracked link.
Rocketbet is a sportsbook brand and casino operator, and it will now appear alongside the Monte name as the team plays through the rest of the season. Readers should check the licensing and local availability of any betting brand before signing up.
A Team Mid-Rebuild
The partnership lands in the middle of a reset for the organisation. On October 14, 2026, Monte announced the return of Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev as the first piece of a new line-up.
The full CS2 roster is now sdy, Vladyslav "St0m4k" Lykhoshva, Alexander "br0" Bro, Cai "CYPHER" Watson and Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski, with Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen as coach. HLTV reported that the rebuild followed the sale of Monte's previous core to Luminosity.
The new five have already produced a result. Monte beat Prodigy 2-0 in the CCT Europe 2026 Contenders #10 final on November 1, winning Cache 13-7 and Nuke 13-10, according to Cybersports.Live.
The team's own account marked the win the same evening with a post saying the squad was back in business and calling it the first but very important step.
Not Monte's First Betting Sponsor
Rocketbet is not the first sports betting brand to back the team. In 2023 Monte announced a partnership with Ukrainian operator Favbet, and a press release published on LIGA.net at the time presented the tie-up as a way to support Ukrainian esports.
The squad of that era, led by captain Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk, reached the playoffs of the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
The new deal follows a wider pattern in Counter-Strike. In November 2025 100 Thieves rebranded its CS2 programme as 100T Roobet under a multi-year naming deal with the crypto casino and sportsbook, a tie-up that drew criticism from parts of the community.
Title partnerships put an operator's name on team assets and broadcasts, which is why they get closer scrutiny than a standard jersey logo.
