Stake Pulse 2027: Six CS2 Events Announced By Stake And BME

Stake and Black Molly Entertainment (BME) will run the Stake Pulse Counter-Strike 2 circuit again in 2027, with six tier-two events instead of the three held this year. The operator-backed series is one of several routes that betting sites use to attach their name to competitive CS2, and the new schedule was announced on November 2, 2026.

Stake Esports said the series will continue with increased prize pools and a total of six tier-two events, each produced by BME at the same Stockholm studio. Each event keeps the format of 16 teams, with two places decided through open qualifiers. The details come from a GameTalk report that cites Stake Esports on X and Swedish outlet Fragbite.

The 2027 dates, as reported there, are Beat IV from February 16 to 21, Beat V from April 6 to 11, Beat VI from April 26 to May 1, Beat VII from July 6 to 11, Beat VIII from August 17 to 22 and Beat IX from October 26 to 31. E-Sport Now reports that the first three events carry an $80,000 prize pool, and that prize details for the July, August and October events were not disclosed.

Teams that enter receive all-inclusive packages covering accommodation, catering, transport and private practice rooms. More information on open registration will follow closer to each event.

How 2026 Debut Worked

BME announced the partnership with Stake in a June 2026 release. That first season had three Beats at the BME Studio in Stockholm: July 31 to August 5, September 21 to 26 and October 12 to 17. Beat I carried a $60,000 prize pool, with $20,000 for first place, and teams paid a $2,000 sign-up fee that covered hotel, catering and local transport.

Each event used four best-of-three GSL groups followed by an eight-team single-elimination playoff. Fourteen of the 16 slots were open to first-come, first-served registration, and two went to online qualifiers.

The most recent edition ended with Ninjas in Pyjamas beating MIBR 2-1 in the Grand Final, a result worth $30,000 to the winners, according to E-Sport Now.

Why Tier Two Matters

Valve uses its Valve Regional Standings (VRS) to decide which teams qualify for a Major. That has made tier-two events more important, because points won days before an invite cut-off can decide whether a team reaches the biggest stage. E-Sport Now notes that events like Stake Pulse offer more chances to earn points, and that they often make or break a team's Major hopes.

Stake also runs a second CS2 circuit with StarLadder called Stake Ranked. Episode 5 finished on October 30, and Eternal Fire won it and earned just enough points to book a place at the Singapore Major.

The Sponsor Angle

For a betting operator, a tournament series that carries its own name, runs for most of the year and feeds directly into Major qualification is a long-term branding asset.

Doubling the number of events also doubles the number of weeks in which Stake sits at the centre of the tier-two calendar.
