FDJ United's ParionsSport To Carry Ligue 1+ Pro In 29,000 French Venues

LFP Media and FDJ United's ParionsSport brand have signed a commercial agreement to distribute Ligue 1+ Pro, the professional football league's broadcast package for public venues, across FDJ United's retail network of close to 29,000 partner outlets in France.
The deal, announced on September 11, 2026, means bars, cafes, restaurants and ParionsSport betting shops that subscribe to Ligue 1+ Pro will be able to show every Ligue 1 McDonald's fixture along with more than 27 hours of live football programming each week, including dedicated magazine shows, expert analysis and the return of the Saturday evening Ligue 1 multiplex.
Olivier Bramly, chief executive of LFP Media, said the partnership was about giving fans more ways to watch together outside the home.
"The emotions of football take on their full meaning when they are shared," he said. "With Ligue 1+ Pro, we want to offer supporters more opportunities to experience the highlights of our competitions together in local establishments. The partnership concluded with FDJ United represents an important step towards this ambition."
Karl Lorenzon, head of FDJ United's retail sports betting business, said the tie-up plays to the group's physical footprint.
"FDJ United's retail partners are key players in local life, as well as an essential link in bringing sports fans together," he said.
"This association between ParionsSport and Ligue 1+ creates new opportunities for shared experiences and synergies between our retail partners, supporters and French football, placing proximity at the heart of the sporting experience."
Part Of Wider Retail Push
The agreement builds on Ligue 1+ Pro, the commercial offer LFP Media launched in June 2026 for venues open to the public, and marks its first major distribution partnership since launch.
Participating venues will be able to screen matches from Thursday to Sunday, a broadcast window LFP Media says is designed to turn local bars and restaurants into regular gathering points for supporters.
For FDJ United, the deal supports a broader push to expand its business-to-business offering beyond traditional lottery point-of-sale terminals, an area that already includes payment services and retail technology alongside sports betting distribution.
The group is repositioning ParionsSport as a retail-focused sports betting brand in the second half of 2026, after moving ParionsSport's online betting site operations to Unibet.fr in April as part of a brand-structure simplification following its €4 billion acquisition of Kindred Group.

Why It Matters For Bettors
The tie-up gives ParionsSport's retail customers a reason to stay in the venue for longer, extending the traditional match day experience beyond the final whistle with post-match analysis and build-up programming.
It also signals that France's dominant retail betting operator sees more value in bundling live sport with its point-of-sale network than in competing purely on price or product with online-only rivals.
For LFP Media, the deal is a distribution win for Ligue 1+, the league's own direct-to-consumer platform, at a point when it is still building an audience beyond individual subscriptions.
Routing coverage through thousands of existing retail venues gives the league a fast way to put its product in front of casual and match-day fans who might not otherwise pay for a standalone streaming subscription.
