Flutter Entertainment India Names New GM

Flutter Entertainment India, the Hyderabad-based global capability centre of Flutter Entertainment, has appointed Seema Padman as General Manager, the company who own sports betting site Paddy Power, announced on August 19, 2026.
Padman joined the centre in April 2024 as its People Leader and has been credited with scaling its headcount to more than 1,000 employees.
In her new role, Padman will work with Flutter's leadership team to scale the centre's capabilities, strengthen delivery for the group's betting and gaming brands, and build what the company describes as a high-performance, inclusive culture.
From People Leader To Country Leader
"I've seen first-hand the depth of talent, capability and ambition within the Hyderabad GCC," Padman said in the company's announcement, carried by Indian business outlet Adgully.
"I'm looking forward to bringing those strengths together and working with our leaders to create an environment where both our people and our business can thrive. I'm excited about the opportunity ahead, and about the contribution Hyderabad can make to Flutter's global organisation."
Padman brings more than two decades of experience across technology, pharmaceuticals and retail, having previously served as Senior Vice President of HR for multiple international markets at Epsilon, alongside earlier experience at AstraZeneca. Since joining Flutter, she has also led the people function for Flutter's global hubs in Cluj, Porto and Sofia.
A Hub That Survived India's Real-Money Gaming Clampdown
The appointment comes despite Flutter having been forced to withdraw its Junglee Games real-money gaming division from India following the government's 2025 clampdown on real-money games.
The Hyderabad centre, which opened in 2024, has continued to operate at full capacity as a technology and operations hub supporting Flutter's global brands rather than serving Indian bettors directly.
Padman will also drive the centre's contribution to Flutter Edge, the group's combined technology, product, talent and global-scale strategy, which the company says underpins its competitive position across brands including FanDuel, Paddy Power and Sky Betting & Gaming.
For readers following the operators behind the UK's leading betting sites, the appointment underlines how much of that infrastructure now runs through hubs like Hyderabad rather than any single home market.
