Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming Expand PlayersEdge Program

Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming Expand PlayersEdge Program

Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming have expanded their PlayersEdge responsible gambling program to mark Responsible Gambling Education Month (RGEM) 2026, adding a new player-education campaign, a digital health app pilot and additional academic research partnerships.

RGEM is an annual September campaign led by the American Gaming Association to promote gambling literacy, evaluate staff training and raise awareness of problem gambling resources.

PlayersEdge, which has been part of Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming's team member training since 2021, is being broadened this year with a new education campaign, a digital tool pilot and fresh research ties.

A New Campaign Built Around The Idea Of Chance

The new 'Chance' campaign is being rolled out across Hard Rock casinos during RGEM. It focuses on reinforcing that outcomes in gambling cannot be predicted or influenced, addressing a common misconception among players that they can outsmart randomness.

Hard Rock has also piloted the Almond Digital Health app at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati, a three-month test of a multilingual, anonymous tool designed to connect players with support resources.

Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming are a founding member of the Better Gambling Forum, a multisector coalition working with the G7, the United Nations and the World Economic Forum on brain health and cognitive resilience.

PlayersEdge is also working with Dr. Michael Wohl and his team at Carleton University, with five Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming properties taking part in research, funded by the International Center for Responsible Gaming, into how casino supervisors and managers can better support responsible gambling initiatives.

Why It Matters For Players

“Responsible gambling is about empowering players, team members and guests with knowledge, research and support so they can make informed choices that work for them,” said Paul Pellizzari, Vice President of Global Social Responsibility for Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming.

The expanded program covers every type of player, from newcomers to seasoned regulars, and builds on Hard Rock's broader Amplified Impact social responsibility report published this year.

The PlayersEdge expansion follows Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming's latest Social Responsibility Report, titled Amplified Impact, which covers the company's wider work on responsible gambling, anti-human trafficking, environmental sustainability, and community programs.

Hard Rock International operates venues in nearly 80 countries, including hotels, casinos and live performance locations, alongside its Hard Rock Digital sports betting and iGaming business.
