OpenBet Names Nikos Konstakis New CEO
OpenBet has appointed Nikos Konstakis as Chief Executive Officer, effective at the end of 2026, the sports betting and gaming technology provider announced on September 22.
Outgoing CEO Jordan Levin will transition to the role of Chairman, where he will continue to shape the sports betting site's long-term strategy.
A Promotion From Within
Konstakis has served as OpenBet's president, a role in which the company says he was closely involved in driving operational and commercial execution and shaping strategic priorities.
He joined OpenBet, who have 25 years of sports betting experience, more than eight years ago and has held a series of senior executive positions, including Chief Product Officer.
As CEO, Konstakis will lead OpenBet's overall vision, strategy and day-to-day business, with a focus on growth, product and technology priorities.
Momentum From The World Cup And OmniLogic Deal
The leadership change comes during a period of expansion for OpenBet. The company recently agreed to acquire lottery and sportsbook platform provider OmniLogic, a deal aimed at strengthening its position in the global lottery market and its relationships with World Lottery Association operators.
OpenBet also says its platform processed more than 175 million bets worth $3 billion in stakes during the 2026 World Cup. In 2025, the company completed a management buyout from Endeavor Group Holdings backed by Ariel Emanuel, with participation from OpenBet executives.
