SmartSoft Joins AiA As Gold Supplier Member

SmartSoft has joined the African iGaming Alliance (AiA) as a Gold Supplier Member, the trade body announced, formalising a partnership focused on the continued development of regulated gambling markets across Africa.
What The Partnership Covers
AiA, a pan-African industry association representing licensed betting and gaming operators, said the partnership will bring SmartSoft into "selected AiA industry engagements, regulatory discussions, policy consultations, research initiatives and strategic roundtables," covering areas including B2B licensing, market access, responsible gaming, taxation and channelisation.
SmartSoft is a Georgia-based B2B games and software provider founded in 2015, best known for its portfolio of crash-style titles including JetX.
The company has built a growing footprint across African markets over the past two years, supplying its games to operators across the continent.
Why AiA Says This Matters
"We are delighted to welcome SmartSoft as a Gold Supplier Member of AiA," said Peter Emolemo Kesitilwe, chief executive of the African iGaming Alliance. "Suppliers are an important part of Africa's gambling ecosystem, and their experience and technical expertise need to form part of the wider conversation about how our markets develop."
"SmartSoft already has significant exposure to African markets, and we look forward to working with their team on issues ranging from B2B licensing and market access to responsible gaming, channelisation and sustainable regulation," Kesitilwe added. "Our aim is to create an environment in which regulators, operators and suppliers can engage constructively on the opportunities and challenges facing the industry across the continent."
SmartSoft chief executive Guram Gotsadze said Africa is "an important and growing part of SmartSoft's international strategy," and that joining AiA marks a step toward building longer-term relationships with regulators across the region rather than pursuing individual market entries in isolation.

A Growing Supplier Bench For AiA
AiA has been building out its supplier-side membership over 2026, having previously announced strategic tie-ups with other B2B platform providers as part of what it describes as bringing operators, suppliers and regulators into "constructive dialogue" as African markets mature.
The alliance's work has focused heavily on responsible gaming standards and channelisation, the process of moving players from unlicensed operators into the regulated betting and gaming market, as more African jurisdictions move toward formal licensing regimes.
The partnership does not commit SmartSoft to specific new market launches, but gives it a formal seat at AiA's policy discussions as more African regulators, including those in Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa, continue to refine their licensing frameworks for online casino and betting products.
