Super Group Lifts Guidance After Q2 Profit Swing, Eyes NZ Licences
Super Group, the operator behind the Betway and Spin brands, raised its full-year guidance after a sharp improvement in second-quarter earnings and said it plans to bid for three online gambling licences in New Zealand.

Guidance Raised
Super Group lifted its full-year revenue guidance to more than $2.6billion, up from $2.55bn, and now expects adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation above $710million.
Second-quarter adjusted EBITDA reached $204m, up from $157m a year earlier, while profit swung to $123m from a $3m loss.
The Betway brand spans sports betting, and online casino play.
The figures were set out in the company's second-quarter results.
New Zealand In Focus
The group plans to apply for three of the 15 online gambling licences New Zealand is putting up for tender.
Operators are capped at three licences each and must show access to at least NZ$7.5m in capital.
Betway has operated in New Zealand for years, and second-quarter revenue there rose 14% year on year despite lower marketing spend, helping the group's rest-of-world revenue rise 6%.
New Zealand opened its expression-of-interest window in July 2026 ahead of a regulated market launch in 2027.
Entain, which runs the country's TAB betting monopoly, has also said it will seek three licences.
Share Gains In The UK
Super Group said it had been taking market share in the UK since the increase in Remote Gaming Duty in April 2026.
The company does not break out UK revenue, but its European revenue rose 19% year on year to $132m.

The operator also finalised a shirt sponsorship with Premier League club Manchester United to raise its brand presence in the UK and across Africa.
