Visa And MOONTON Games Extend MLBB M Series Partnership Through 2029

Visa and MOONTON Games have signed a three-year extension that makes the payments giant the Global Payment Partner of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's M Series, the pair announced on September 21, 2026.
The deal runs from the M8 World Championship in 2027 through the M10 World Championship in 2029, building on Visa's debut in MLBB Esports at this year's M7 World Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia.
What The Deal Covers
Visa cardholders will get preferential access to M Series tickets across the M8, M9 and M10 editions, plus chances to win VIP Zone access, meet-and-greets with players and teams, and behind-the-scenes tournament tours.
MOONTON Games, the international video game developer behind MLBB, said the extension builds on the value the two companies created together at M7.
Visa said its payment network, which spans more than 200 countries and territories, will support the tournament's continued international growth while making fan experiences more seamless across markets.
A Tournament Going International
The M Series is MLBB's flagship international competition and, according to Esports Charts, the most-watched mobile esports tournament in history, with 5.68 million peak concurrent viewers recorded at M7.
The M8 World Championship will mark the tournament's European debut, with the finals set for Istanbul, Turkey, in January 2027, part of a wider MLBB Esports global expansion strategy MOONTON unveiled earlier this year.
Visa has also been building out its presence across the wider MLBB Esports ecosystem, joining the MLBB Professional League Philippines as an Official Sponsor for Season 18.

Why It Matters For Betting And Payments
The extension is the latest example of a mainstream global payments brand deepening ties to competitive mobile gaming rather than treating it as a one-off activation.
Danielle Jin, Chief Marketing Officer at Visa Asia Pacific, said the two companies are "proud to deepen" the partnership, calling MLBB "one of the most remarkable gaming franchises in the world."
Tiger Xu, Global Head of MLBB Esports at MOONTON Games, said the multi-year agreement "is a natural next step as MLBB Esports enters its next phase of globalisation."
For betting sites and payment processors watching esports handle grow, deals of this size and length signal continued confidence in mobile esports audiences as a durable, monetisable fanbase rather than a short-term trend.
