X Sues Duel.com Founder Over Account Bribery Claims
X Corp filed a civil lawsuit against Immortal Snail LLC, the operator of crypto casino operator Duel.com, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. The case, numbered 4:26-cv-01254, was lodged on September 28, 2026 and names Duel founder Ossi Ketola as a central figure in a dispute that has been building since 2024.
The filing is a response to an arbitration claim Immortal Snail brought against X in April, seeking the reinstatement of the suspended accounts @duel, @monarch and @castle. X is now asking the federal court to step in and halt that arbitration while its own claims against Ketola and his company proceed.
What The Complaint Alleges
According to the complaint, the dispute traces back to March 2024, when an account tied to the @duel handle was compromised and its registered email changed to one linked to Moonrail Limited, the operator behind CSGOEmpire.
X says it suspended the account within two days after identifying the takeover, and that Immortal Snail went on to acquire the @duel handle outright in March 2025 after earlier attempts to reclaim it had failed.
X further alleges that associates of Ketola approached its own staff and contractors to influence enforcement decisions, including an offer of $300,000 to one employee to restore several accounts that had been suspended in October 2025.
The suit also claims a separate account was used to target and harass critics of Ketola's businesses before it too was suspended.
Earlier Public Claim Reversal
The allegations sit in direct contrast to a claim Ketola made publicly in October 2025, when he said he had been told someone paid to have his personal and business accounts removed from X, framing the suspensions as a coordinated campaign against him.
X's complaint now presents the opposite account, alleging that Ketola and his company were the ones attempting to influence platform staff.
None of the allegations have been tested in court, and Immortal Snail had not filed a public response as of the time of writing.
The case was reassigned to a different judge within the Northern District of Texas on September 30, according to the court's own docket record, with only a single complaint entry filed so far.
X has taken an increasingly aggressive public stance against attempts to manipulate its account-suspension process in the past year, and the platform's own enforcement actions against the accounts in question date back to October 2025, months before this lawsuit was filed.

The immediate question for the court is whether to pause the arbitration Immortal Snail initiated in April, which centres on account ownership rather than the bribery allegations.
A ruling on that request would determine whether the underlying dispute over the Duel and Monarch accounts proceeds through arbitration or through the federal court case itself.
