- Brian McClair's Panel Pick 1: Brentford 2-2 Man Utd - 12.00 With Betovo
- Brian McClair's Panel Pick 2: Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool - 8.00 With Betovo
Throughout the season, Manchester United and Celtic legend Brian McClair will be giving his predictions for every Premier League match.
In four seasons at Celtic, Brian made 204 appearances in all competitions and scored 126 goals, securing the Scottish Premier League and Scottish FA Cup while finishing as top-scorer for the Hoops on four occasions.
His prolific goalscoring record quickly attracted the attention of clubs south of the border and in 1987, Brian became Alex Ferguson's first signing at Manchester United, going on to win four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the European Cup Winners' Cup in his 11 years at Old Trafford.
Brian joins The Panel for the 2024/25 Premier League season to pass expert judgement and give his score predictions for all of the games whilst The Panel examine the football betting sites to find the best odds.
Watch him discuss the games below and keep an eye on how Brian and The Panel get on each week throughout the season.
Brentford Vs Man Utd, Sunday, 2pm
Brentford and Manchester United meet at Brentford Community Stadium on Sunday with very little on the line in terms of the Premier League standings.
The Bees are sitting comfortably in mid table and can't now qualify for Europe, but will be looking to repeat their success in this fixture three years ago when they put four past their opponents.
The Red Devils scored late to share the spoils with ten-man Bournemouth last weekend, but, they will no doubt have at least one eye on the Europa League semi-final with Athletic Bilbao on Thursday.
Brian says: “Brentford have won just one of their last 12 meetings with Manchester United in all competitions, that was a 4-0 home win in August 2022.
“United have a poor record in the capital and have won just three of their last 21 Premier League away games against London sides, with all three of those victories coming against Fulham.
"Much will depend on how Ruben Amorim’s side do in the first-leg of their Europa League semi-final, but I can see this being a high-scoring draw.”
Brian McClair's Panel Pick 1: Brentford 2-2 Man Utd - 12.00 With Betovo
Chelsea Vs Liverpool, Sunday, 4.30pm
Chelsea and newly crowned Premier League champions Liverpool will lock horns at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
After a bright start to the Premier League campaign, Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea started fizzling out towards the end of last year.
Now the Blues must gather as many points as they can in the final four games to have a shot at securing Champions League football for next season.
Arne Slot's side have already won the title, becoming one of the fastest title winners in Premier League history, and will be looking forward to getting a guard of honour in west London.
Brian says: “After their 2-1 win in October, Liverpool are looking to complete their first league double over Chelsea since their title-winning 2019/20 campaign.
“Chelsea are winless in their last 10 meetings with Liverpool in all competitions and failure to secure victory here would see them equal a run off 11 games without a win over the Reds between 1985 and 1990.
“However, I think the Blues have more to play for in this one and will just edge it as they look to secure Champions League football next season.”
